Ticking with Love (Ticci-Toby x reader)

Ch. 55

   "We should t-tell Slenderman that F-Fake was the t-thing controlling y/n." Toby said, gently holding my hand. "Well then, good-bye. We'll see you..." Mr. Smiley waited for an answer from us. "We'll visit tomorrow, maybe Slenderman will come, ok?" I smiled, waving bye to the men and giving Fake a hug.
    Fake was oddly not hostile now, but in the portal he was...maybe it's because of the portal. I shake my head from my thoughts and turn to Toby. "Bye again!" I laugh and give Dr. and Mr. Smiley hugs.
    Toby steps outside and starts walking, turning around to wait for me. I run out, slowing down once I reached him. We both start walking through the woods, the sun shining brightly on the treetops.
    "Hey on the way to Slender Mansion, could we walk together and maybe see your favorite places." I asked, looking at Toby with a small smile. "Y-Yes of course y/n." His sweet voice answered. I love his voice, even though it's shaky and stutters, I still love it.
     "Here f-follow me." He grabs my hand, gripping it tightly as we took a left into the woods and off the pathway.

   After the 5 minutes of walking, we came to a cleared out area with broken statues and white bricks. Looking around, we both circled it for a while.
  "What is this place?" I asked, wonder filling my voice and head.
"I think S-Slenderman said it was ruins from a temple. It c-collapsed on itself but there's a cave u-under it. Wanna try and go ins-inside?" He asked, tilting his head and smirking at me.
   I nodded hooking my arm with his as we looked for an entrance in the crumpled bricks. "T-there's an entrance!" We both said, pointing at a hole in the crumpled bricks. We looked at each other and laughed, walking to the hole.
   Toby moved some bricks out of the way, and I looked in to see if it would lead us in, and it would. Once Toby finished, we both had to crawl to get inside. "Hey Toby? Shouldn't we get a candle or something?" I asked, but Toby resounded with a,"Nah, we'll find something."
     Once we got into a cave temple looking area, we set foot in the middle of it. There were pillars that led to a door, but once we saw the door, the pillars lit up with fire on top. Toby and I exchanged glances, both curious and worried.
    "Let's go to the door." I suggested. "Y-yeah but what I-if it's a trap?" Toby panicked, looking around us to see any tripwires or trembling tiles on the floor. "We don't know that unless we try it." I said, taking his ticking hand and walking up to the giant door- almost like Zalgo's throne room door.
We pushed against it, it opening for us, but we heard a weird sound behind us. Turning around, I saw some sort of creature that was watching us. It was moving closer, and closer, and closer.
"Toby run." I panicked, trying to close the doors once we stepped inside the other room. The thing came bounding over to us, for some reason the door wasn't closing.
Toby came by my side and started helping me, the doors closing slowly. Once they were both closed, the creature started pounding on the door- trying to get in.
Looking around the room, it was filled with sand except the platform we were on. The platform was made out of tile and dirt, probably from the collapse. The room had the same pillars but they were lined against the wall, lighted, it was also quite a long walk to the other end.
We both jumped as we heard the repeated pounding on the door, quickening our heartbeats. "Uhhh how do we get out?!" I looked around, trying to find another platform to jump to.
"T-there's a platform at the other side o-of the r-room, but I d-don't think that'll help." Toby answered, his ticking increasing a little bit.
But it was too late for anymore searching.
The creature broke the giant doors, and lunged at me. Landing on top of me and...
