I blink awake with my eyes wide open and look over at the alarm clock on Toby's desk.

3:15 am

Holy cow, why am I awake right now?
I suddenly hear Toby move and jumped as I realized we were sleeping next to each other.
Geez!
I quickly got up from the bed and hopped out, taking a flashlight with me. I needed some water as I noticed my throat was dry- I could barely speak! I rubbed my eyes and jumped- once again- as I heard a crash from the kitchen. Sounded like pots and pans.
I shine the flashlight down the stairs and see some grey thing dart across the floor. This conveniently sounds like a horror film. I roll my eyes at the thought of some lame creepypasta trying to scare me. I call them lame because nothing scares me. It'd be funny if we scared the culprit.
What should I do, fall down the stairs and play dead? Yeah sure whatever. I screech- it sounded like a dying boar since my throat was all dry- and I fake fall down the stairs. Once I fell to the bottom, I noted in my head that I would have bruises on my shoulder and legs in the morning.
Hearing footsteps rush closer, I open my eyes- keeping them still- and act like a dead guy.
"Oh my gosh." I heard someone say as they tried to check for my heartbeat. "She's dead!" The male voice yelled. Clearly he wasn't skilled in checking the heartbeat on someone's wrist or neck. I peek my eye out and see a certain someone. One who loves playing pranks on everyone.
The guy started fumbling around and eventually tried to carry me- he carried me to the living room couch. "Why would you do this? You're such a loser." He was clearly talking to himself, because no one ever calls (y/n) (l/n) a loser. And if they do- they'll have a broken face when they die.
I laugh and sit up. "Did you really fall for that Jeff? Your really bad at checking for heartbeats." He gasped and hugged me tight. "Oh y/n! You scared me there!" I pat his back and he let go of me.
To be honest- I don't know how I pulled it off not blinking but hey- it clearly worked. "You're right Jeff."
Jeff looks up, smiling. "What am I right at?"
"That you're a loser." I smile and stand up, walking to the fridge to pour myself some water. I look around for a glass, shining the light in every cabinet until Jeff nudged me in the back and handed me one.
"Thanks." I said and started to pour the water.
He shrugged and after I drank some water, I asked, "Was that Fake?"
He gave me a questioning look. "What are you taking about?" I was going to punch him if he kept playing dumb. "You know, Fake ran across the entrance of the stairs. At least that's what I saw when I was up there. I saw a grey thing run across the entrance."
Jeff look at me, "Seriously? Stop trying to freak me out. You already did that...but I never saw Fake anywhere. Y/n, he's still living with Mr. Smiley."
I stare at him, narrowing my eyes more and more each second. "Are you lying?" Jeff stepped back, "No! I swear I'm not! I'm going to bed!" He suddenly runs out of the kitchen and ran to the door of his bedroom.
"What? Where do you think you're going?" I said as I sprinted towards the murderous creepypasta. He turned around and looked at me. "What do you want?"
I raised an eyebrow. "Jeff, are you scared?" He looked down and slowly nodded his head. "That's ok, everyone is scared of something." I said to calm him down while letting go of him. Thinking in my head of what I should do next, I turn to Jeff and tell him my idea.
"I'm just going to look for it then. Since it's not in here, it'll be outside- and it couldn't have gotten far." Jeff sits down on the couch and stares out into space as I run up the stairs to change clothes and get a flashlight. One that didn't break while I fell down the stairs.
When I walk towards the front door of Slenderman's mansion, I see Jeff still staring. "Jeff, it's late. Go to sleep."
