"lol look at that pretty boy with that loser, y/n!" A girl screams and points at me, busting out laughing. It was Megan.
"Hey listen! Don't make fun of my friends that way!" Mark shouts at her, his hands turning into fists.
"M-M-Mark! Oh ya know! I'm j-just joking around with her! She's actually an old f-friend of mine!" She cowers a little, finding an excuse so Mark isn't mad at her.
"Yeah right! I'm not your freaking old friend of yours! Your just a girl who bullies me!" I shout at her angrily, but she suddenly death stares me.
"Your the one who threw me into the dumpster! Your the one who slapped me across the face at lunch!" Energy surges through me, as I confront her in front of Mark.
She looks really scared and her face is all red. I could see anger spreading across her face.
"Y/n! I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you!" Mark shouted, pulling me into a gentle hug.
"What?! Aren't y-you going to make sure s-she's telling the truth?!" Megan screams, terror spreading across her face.
"I don't need to. I trust her enough." Mark says and we all quietly walk away to our first class.
Good thing the principals office is on the other side of the building...or she'd come out about now.
Soon, Mac and I got to math class. We waved bye to Mark and Ace, who were going to the science room.
Mac turned the doorknob and held the door open for me. I thanked him and held his hand while we walked to the teacher.
"Good morning Mr. Elvins. I would love to introduce you to our new student, Mac." I say calmly, pushing Mac in front of me.
"Thank you Ms. L/n(last name). Mac, please introduce yourself to the class. Don't be shy!" He smiled at Mac, a friendly smile.
I walked to my seat and sat, watching him stutter and play with his fingers.
"M-my name is Mac Drodu... I uh I-I like to w-write and help my friends..." the last part he looked at me and smiled a little.
A student raised their hand quickly glancing at me.
"Yes Tylor?" The teacher asked, raising a brow. Tylor was one of the trouble makers at school and I could tell that Mr. Elvins did not like him at all.
"Mac, why are your eyes different colors?"
"Tylor! He's just unique! Please don't ask silly questions!" Mr. Elvins sighs.
"It's ok Mr. Elvins. I really don't mind telling everyone." Mac says giving a gentle smile to the teacher.
"Well my eyes used to be just yellow until I was in kindergarten. I was playing on the swings and I saw a 6th grader jump off of one. I-I wanted to try it myself so I jumped off one but because of my small size, I stumbled when I landed and fell face first on a rock. My eye has turned red from the blood going into my eye and the veins having too much blood, so all the blood went and changed the color of my eye." (Don't do that kids, I just made it up don't try and change the color of yo eyeball by hitting your face on a rock.)
After Mac was done explaining, everyone in the room gasped, even the teacher.
"Well that was quite some story, Mac. We all hope your ok now." He says, looking at Mac with a face full of an amazed emotion.
"Since you know y/n you can pull up a chair next to her because as you can see,"he looks around the room," there aren't any empty desks left.
Mac nodded and smiled, heading over to my seat, pulling up an extra chair.
Class started and we both had fun, helping each other on math and answering questions. Mac wasn't even bullied during class, probably because of his story.
