"Ace! Mac!" I shouted happily as I got a hug from both the boys. "Guys! Keep it down! Our parents are sleeping, remember?" Mark said as he stared at the screen of his video game.
"Yeah yeah says the boy who's playing video games right now." I laugh and playfully hit him on the shoulder, earning a hit from Mark on the arm- we both laughed. "Ohhh Mark hit y/nnnn." Ace says and he rubs my arm, I nervously laugh and Mac pulls Ace's hand away.
"I don't think she likes that." Mac says as he narrows his eyes towards his older brother.
"Yeah yeah whatever." Ace smiles and moves away- winking at me, sitting next to Mark and watching him. Mac and I watch the game but get bored and walk around the house. "So how's it going?" I ask, starting a conversation with my friend.
"Pretty good. Would you like to go on a tour of the house? Our parents wanted us to all live in the same house so we had to make two more bedrooms... it's way better than jail." Mac and I start to laugh as we regained memories of the horrible experience. I'm still surprised they let us out really early. I better be glad for it.
"Which one's your room?" I ask, as we were both facing the same three rooms. I stare at all three of them. "Well, that one's mine." He points to the room on the far left. "Would you like to go in?" He asks, and I nod my head.
We both walk in and the first thing I notice is a picture of Mark, Ace, and Mac all together in front of the house. They were all so happy, and I liked it. Mac's room was painted a light turquoise and there was a tan carpet over the brown wooden floor by his bed. His bed was wooden and the sheets were just plain black- it looked very comfortable to be honest. He had a nightstand right next to his bed and had a book, water bottle, and a lamp on it. I looked to the left of the room and saw a giant bookshelf full of books, they were set in such a neat order too. From tallest to shortest, although he didn't have any tall books so all the books were the same height. He had some controls and dvds on a desk that was right by the door with a computer on it. Even though there wasn't much in this room, it still was welcoming.
"You have a nice bedroom." I said as I walked around while taking a peek at some of the books.
"Thanks y/n. I'm sure yours looks finer than this." He smiled and scratched the back of his neck.
"Oh, no yours is better. I had too much junk in mine, and I've shared a room with someone else for the past six months." I say, while we both walk out of Mac's room and sit on the couch with Mark and Ace.
"What's their name?" Mac asks, and I reluctantly answer. "Toby. His name is Toby. He's really sweet actually, and we don't fight over anything small. I think it was only one time that we fought but other than that, we haven't anymore." Mac nods as I say this and gives a little smile.
"It's good that he's nice I you. Does anyone else live in the house that your sharing with Toby?" Mark suddenly asks. I gulp, thinking if I should say or not. I'll just say their first names, and I'll only say four because I'm pretty sure eight is way too much people to be living with- not to mention that I live in a mansion too.
"Well, other than Toby, I live with four different people too. Benjamin, Jeffery, Sally, and uh Jack." I said. It didn't matter if it was Laughing Jack or Eyeless Jack, I needed another name.
"You live with a lot of boys." Ace said, narrowing his eyes at me, I just smile and laugh.
"Hey guys, when it's 10:00 in the morning, we should go to the mall or something. I've been trying to find this new video game I wanted for the past two months but it's always getting sold out since it's so popular." Mark said as he shut off the tv.
"Sure!" I said, and the two other brothers smiled as they nodded their heads.
