Ch. 94

I need some ending ideas, but no marrying because I think it's kind of awkward... sorry- that's just me. I'm also getting lazier and lazier each day I'm supposed to update so yeah. Rip send help

"Don't worry y/n! I'll get some help for you!" Clockwork shouted as she ran off towards the mansion. I held my breath and listened her footsteps until they grew faint and I couldn't hear them anymore. I started to breath again. It was pretty dark, and when I leaned against the soil, it was very cold.
Perhaps a hunter made a trap for a bear of something?
I questioned everything and closed my eyes. "Hopefully Clockwork gets back soon... or else I'm going to fall asleep." I mutter and sit down on the ground while looking around and observing my surroundings. It was dark- of course- and the walls were damp. I looked to my right and saw a little cave.
   Might as well stay put in case anything is living in there.
    I turned away from it all and waited for Clockwork to come back with help. I know she will. Then, I suddenly fell asleep leaning against the earthy wall.

Clockwork's POV

I panted as I reached the door to the mansion, swinging open the door and running up the stairs towards my room looking for rope. I throw everything into a pile as I look through my closet and drawers. "Found it!" I shouted and held it up in a dramatic pose. I run out the door, the creepypastas looking at me weirdly, but I ignore them and dash to were y/n last was... but when I saw where she fell into... she wasn't there.
    "Y/n?" I start to climb down.

Y/n's POV

I woke up and suddenly felt myself being shaken. "Oh... you're alive then. That's good!" A male voice said. It was still dark out and I heard someone running up above. "Oh, I guess she's coming back. " The male voice said, and suddenly he disappeared. I did catch a glimpse of red hair...
    "Y/n?" Someone climbed down. "Y/n are you still here?" It was Clockwork.
    I guess she couldn't see me since it was too dark, but she found me soon as she tripped over me. "Whoa!" She yelled as she fell on top of me. "Hey Clockwork!" I smile and start laughing like nothing happened. "Were you just waiting?" She asked me. "Uh... yeah." I said.
    Might as well keep it all to myself since it was nothing special.
    "Ok, let's get you out of here!" Clockwork smiled and tied a loop at the end of the rope and started throwing it towards a branch on a tree- since there were trees everywhere. It started to get quite awkward since we were just waiting for the rope to catch onto something sturdy and strong enough to hold a person.
    "So, uh, did you fall asleep?" Clockwork asked to try and start a conversation.
    "Yes, I think so." I said.

   After a few more minutes of watching Clockwork struggle, I ask to take the rope. She gives me it and I swing it, throwing it up- and surprisingly it gets caught onto a tree branch. I pull just to make sure it's good to climb.
    "You can climb up first, Clockwork." I suggest but she declines, "No thanks, I should regain my strength just in case so I don't fall off!" I node and begin to climb. "You're really good at that y/n." Clockwork says after I take hold of the rope. "Thanks, maybe we should practice fighting and doing things like that together."
    "Yeah, that'd be pretty fun!" She laughs and when I get to the top, I wait for her. "I'm coming up!" She yells. I tell her ok and look around. Clockwork wasn't gone for long at all to get her rope but I'm still confused about who that man was.
    Why did he just disappear? How did he know my name? Why was he trying to wake me up?
    Clockwork came up before I knew it and we both started walking to the mansion after we retrieved the rope from the tree branch. Questions lingered in my head for the rest of the walk back, and I kept seeing a person's silhouette in the moonlight behind trees and by bushes.

Maybe I'm just imagining it all.
