Ticking with Love (Ticci-Toby x reader)

Ch. 53

Warning: Toby cusses a bit because he's really mad! Sorry about that...

    "Toby!" I shout, grabbing the thing's arms and tugging it away from my lover. It turns and snarls, raising its long claws. I closed my eyes- ready to take a hit, but after a few seconds, nothing came.
    Toby grabbed the creature from me and pinned it down to the floor, Dr. Smiley pulling out a weapon.
"What the hell are y-you?! Do you e-even talk?" Toby shouts in the creature's face, causing it to bare its teeth.
"I believe this is the fellow doing all these spells. Let's see what it's making." Dr. Smiley walks over to the steaming. cauldron, looking at papers and ingredients that are on a desk near it.
    "A love spell for two people..." He mutters, picking up a piece of paper and holding it up, looking from it to the cauldron.
    Toby turns to the thing, growling,"So y-your the little s-shit that put the spell on her, a-aren't you?!" His twitching increases, and he bares his teeth at the creature. The creature was struggling under Toby's grip, the fear in its eyes was expanding quickly.
     "You b-bastard!" He shouts and throws the creature to the wall, it falls to the ground.
      "Whoa there Toby, I may want to keep this thing as a project." Dr. Smiley pulls Toby back from doing anymore damage. Then he picks it up and stares at us,"It's knocked out, it won't hurt us now."
     Toby picks me up bridal style and pushes the door open, Dr. Smiley walking out with the golem looking thing in his arms. Toby then shuts the door and walks behind Dr. Smiley, staring at me the whole way.

    When we arrived at the portal, I gave Toby a small peck on the lips, just to make him cheer up. He smiled and we stepped in, arriving at the slightly safer end. Dr. Smiley was already climbing up the ladder, Toby setting me down carefully on the ground.
     I grabbed one of the ladder's handle and began to climb, Toby right after me.

  When I reached the top, Dr. Smiley pulled me out, then picked up the creature that was next to him. Toby climbs out and we all take a moment of silence together, rethinking what happened. After that, we started walking back to Mr. Smiley's shack.
   Suddenly we hear a voice behind us and a familiar face. A face with a smile carved into it, a person wearing a black coat and black gloves.
    "Mr. Smiley!" I shout and give him a huge hug. He hugs back and pets my head.
     "Make it out safe?" He asks, we all nod and I feel him jump,"What's that? Where'd you get that? Where'd you find it?" He asks, pointing at the creature. I let go from him and explain what happened.

When we reached the shack, Mr. Smiley held open the door for us, each of us walking inside. We all trudged to the couch and fell on it, my legs hanging off the couch's arm.
    "Do you all want dinner?" Mr. Smiley asks, and sprints to the fridge. "Yes please." I say, and Mr. Smiley gets a plate of spaghetti ready for us.
After he handed us plates and forks, we ate like there was no tomorrow. I was done in a second, Toby falling asleep after finishing.
Dr. Smiley saved a small portion on his plate. "What's that for?" I asked, pointing a little to the creature and shrugging. He nods and falls asleep, cradling the thing in his arms.
"Goodnight y/n." Mr. Smiley says before heading off to his bed.
"Goodnight Mr. Smiley" I smile and fall asleep.
