So sorry for not updating! I'm really tired and totally wasn't watching Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit while I should have been writing a chapter... huehue

"Hey Clockwork..." I shrug. Why do I want to talk to this girl? She actually killed me- before I changed time and everything. Why is she trying to start a conversation now? I heard a voice and was distracted from my thoughts.
"Y/n... I'm sorry. Can I talk to you, alone? I really want to clear things up." She started walking towards the front door, glancing back at me while waiting. "Don't worry y/n, she promised she wouldn't hurt you." Toby said as he pat me on the shoulder and gave a loving smile. "Ya know what? Why not?" I smile and brush all the hate Clockwork gave me aside. I'm still hurt by what she was trying to do, but I would want to understand why she was trying to kill me at least.
"I'm coming Clock!" I wave while running up to her, and we both walk outside together. This was very awkward since we both didn't start talking until we reached the lake. "So y/n, I'm really sorry about trying to do everything to you. I've been so caught up with Toby these days- I just have to learn to move on." Clockwork sat down.
"Hey, it's ok. I'm really concerned and unhappy that you tried to kill me and stu-"
"What? I tried to kill you? Well, in the past I've wanted to- sorry about that." She looked down and rested her head in her hands. "Oh, I had to change time since you almost killed me... I would've died!" I frowned, remembering the shack and the pocket watch getting kicked away from me. "Maybe you should find someone else to like. Want me to help you?" I asked, watching Clockwork nod. "Thanks y/n. I wasn't expecting you to be so nice about this. I'm really sorry about what happened in the past. All my jealousy was taking over my head- I wish I had control over it." She stood up and clenched her fists, looking up and extending her hand.
"Would you like to start over?" She asked, and I shook her hand. "I would love to." I said, and we both started to take a leisurely walk in the forest together. On a random path we found, we talked about everything. From our humdrum lives to our lives right now, I was happy now.
"I'm glad I met you guys." I said out of the blue. "I'm glad I met you too, and I'm glad that we're friends now." Clockwork smiled. To be honest, I was too. I didn't have to worry about a blood thirsty murderer stalking me 24/7 with all these plans on how she could get rid of me.
The sun started to sink into the mountains and drown the world into shadows. "Should we get going?" I asked, getting prepared to turn around on the path we were walking on. "Yeah, we should've turned around when the sun was higher than the mountains. Let's get going quickly." Clockwork responded and start to jog back to the mansion. I ran up to her and looked around- it wasn't a peaceful sight being in the woods in darkness. "It looks scary now." I said to Clockwork, but she just shrugged,"This is normal for me, I'm always in the dark but it can be scary being alone in these woods. At least you got a strong killer by your side." Clockwork smiled and flexed as I let out a chuckle.
"I bet I'm twice as strong as you are. I could pick up three anvils if I wanted to!" I crossed my arms. "Oh really now?" She said, raising an eyebrow. "Let's have a race to the mansion!" I suggested, and we both started sprinting off. Clockwork was pretty fast, but I was beating her by four seconds to the mansion. "I'm going to beat yo-" I shouted but suddenly gave out a frightened shriek as I started falling through the ground. I took a little shortcut to the mansion and lost sight of Clockwork, but now I fell into a pit.
"Y/n? Hello?" Clockwork started to shout from above. I suddenly felt a cold hand on my shoulder.
