Ch. 71

GUYS. I was told that I was going to Alcatraz tomorrow! (Just circle around it. All the tickets that were for going on the actual island were all sold out ;-;) I'm so fricken excited, I'll put some pictures up when I'm done because you might want to see it... I think? I rush down the stairs to see who knocked on the front door, but suddenly I knew who it was by the voice. "Hey there Jeffery!" A goofy but jolly voice laughed.
"Mr. Smiley, I would appreciate it if you didn't call me that." Jeff responded, crossing his arms and sluggishly walked away as Slenderman stepped toward Mr. Smiley.
"Hello Mr. Smiley. It's great to see you again." Slender said as he shook Mr. Smiley's hand. "Yes it's very fantastic to see you too!" Smiley nodded.
"Please come in." Slenderman insisted, also asking one question,"May I ask why you decided to visit?" I stepped right next to Slenderman, Toby right next to me. "Oh it got lonely, since I sent Dr. Smiley off to get an ingredient for a new potion- and you didn't visit me y/n!" Mr. Smiley stomped, giving out a laugh after.
"I'm so sorry! I would've visited if I wasn't interrupted by something!" I felt Toby's hand on my shoulder, patting it to calm me down. "What was the interruption?" He curiously asked, tilting his head a tiny bit.
"I'll tell you as we head to my office." Slenderman says, then he turns to me,"Let's go."
"Oh yes!" Mr. Smiley snapped his fingers, jumping up with excitement. "Have you had more problems sleeping?" He starts to reach into his pocket. "Not that much. I haven't taken the medicine for a while to, so would I still have to take it?" I asked, watching him pull out a bottle of red liquid, too light to be blood.
"Oh that's great! Please take this tonight and travel to my house tomorrow." He hands over the bottle and I take it, swirling it around. "Yes sir. I certainly will."
As Slenderman, Toby, Mr. Smiley, and I reached the office door, Slenderman started to speak,"So something happened with the Puppeteer. He kidnapped y/n, along with four others, and used them for his shows. One of the prisoners went home and three of them stayed here. The Puppeteer is in my office, but I asked Eyeless Jack to put a spell on him that made him sleep for at least 4 days. I would like you to keep him in your house and interrogate him on why he left the mansion, why he started kidnapping people, and who is he working for."
Mr. Smiley nodded and Slenderman opened the door, revealing the Puppeteer on the chair- knocked out of course. "Y/n, can you help Mr. Smiley carry Puppet back to his house? I have something for Toby to do, so I apologize that he can't go with you."
I smile and look at Mr. Smiley. He starts to pick up the Puppet by the shoulders while I rush over to the other side and pick him up by the legs. Slenderman helps us get him on top of our shoulders so our arms won't be aching. "Ok! To Mr. Smileys house we go!"

"Oh thank you so much y/n for helping me carry this young gentleman." He claps his hands together and we both laugh. I look at Puppet sleeping peacefully on the couch and smile.
He sure does look comfortable.
I wave as I walk out of the house, taking a look at my pocket watch.
7:00 pm
Geez he sure kept me at his house for a while. Too much tea, cake, and talking.
I chuckle, suddenly jumping as I hear a stick snap to my right. I assumed that it was just an animal, after all, I was in a forest for goodness sake.
I kept walking, hearing some more crackles of the leaves all around me. It was pretty dark out, considering that it was winter so the time change and everything.
"Whoa!" I shout as a rag covers my mouth. I start to squirm in someone's arms, screaming for my life, but it was too late. My eyelids closed as I caught a glimpse of long brown hair.
