Ticking with Love (Ticci-Toby x reader)

Ch. 102

     I turn and see Toby's door, and walk forward to it. I knock two times.
     "A-ah! Who is i-it?" I heard Toby's voice, which was music to my ears. "It's y/n." I answer, curious if I could come it- even though BEN told me I couldn't. "Oh, sorry y/n. I'm working on something really important right now and I'm sure it'll be done after dinner. Sorry!" He apologized. My heart sunk deep into my chest. I really wanted to see him- I felt bad for disturbing Toby.

"Alright, then I'll leave you to do that then. Bye Toby."

"Bye y/n."

     I walk away from his door and frown, extremely bored now. I decided that I should just take a walk in the woods and see where I end up. If I get lost, I can always call BEN.

     Man, I shouldn't have left the group so early. We could've done a lot more things like play in an arcade or something like that.

     I walk down the stairs in thought, only to be disturbed by a hand on my shoulder.

"Y/n. Long time no see."

     I turn around quickly and see a tall figure with a pointy nose. Black straight hair, black and white clothes, and feathers on their shoulders. It was the one and only Laughing Jack.
     "Eh? What are you talking about? I was here like two days ago."
     LJ nodes, rubbing his chin thoughtfully with his slender hand. "I didn't know that. I haven't seen you in a while."

"Well then, I don't know what you've been doing in your room- but you're living under a rock if you haven't seen me around lately. LJ, I live here. Of course I'm here most of the time. Unless I want to hang out with my friends." I give Laughing Jack a confused look but just continue down the stairs.
     I hear LJ sigh and walk away, probably into his room- I mean his cave. Seems like it at least.
     As I reach the bottom of the creaky, old stairs, I hear a youthful voice speak up from behind me.

"Y/n? Can you have a tea party with me?"

     I know for a fact that this was Sally.

Turning around, I look at the little girl. She had a warm smile on her cute face and was hugging her little brown bear.
     "Oh, of course!" I didn't want to make her sad and to be honest, a walk in the forest all alone would just lead to danger and more boredom.
     "Yay~ Let's go into my room!" She runs up the old stairs- they creak under her steps- and darts into her childish room, waving me over impatiently. "Careful Sally," I warn the excited girl. "You might trip and fall if you're running too fast!"
     "Ok!" She calls from her room, I don't think she cared but what can you say? She's just a little kid, they don't learn until it actually happens. "So what do we do?" I ask as I walk into her room. I suddenly saw Eyeless Jack, Jeff, Masky, and Hoodie sitting in dresses and skirts. I try my best not to burst out laughing, but I can't help the smile on my face appear.
There was a little pink table with six little seats around it. Four of the seats were taken by the guys while Sally was going through her closet. The table was way to small for them all- which made the image more hilarious. Jeff's eye kept twitching for some reason- maybe because they all had to get dressed up.

     "So she dragged you into this too?" Masky grunts, crossing his arms.

     "I don't have anymore dresses but I do have a suit. And I think it's your size!" Sally jumps around and gives me the black and white suit.

      "EH WHAT? Why couldn't I get that?" Jeff shouts in shock, with a massive hair flip.

     "Jeffina! Lady's don't shout! They ask politely." Sally responds, taken aback by "Jeffina's" actions. I couldn't help it anymore, and I burst out into laughter while walking to the bathroom in Sally's room to go change clothes for her.
"Hey! What're you laughing at?!" Jeff shouts, staring into my soul. I quickly shut my mouth- afraid I might get possessed by him- and scurry into the bathroom after squeaking out a little "sorry." in fright.
