"So um...some of you already know, I went to Zalgo's castle." I look at Toby and Mr. Smiley,"But something felt like it was controlling me. It made me say things I didn't want to and it also made me do things."
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Dr. Smiley rub his chin.
"Hmmm...I might have it with me." He opens his suitcase and fumbles around in it, pulling out objects here and there but then throwing them back in.
"Aha!" He shouts as he pulls out some sort of rectangular box of metal.
"This," He holds it up,"is a tracking device. It will track anyone or anything as long as we're near it."
"Then how do we track that...thing?" I asked, thinking a bit on what it could be.
"Well, we will have to go back to Zalgo's castle. Are you up for that?" He turned to me, winking.
"A-as long as he d-doesn't find out we're t-there." Toby gets up and starts walking towards the door, holding it open for us.
"W-what are you guys waiting f-for? Let's g-go."
We all get up and walk outside, turning to each other. "So y/n let's try and go to where you fell." Mr. Smiley says kindly.
"Ok..." I mumble, remembering the incident with Jane and the portal. We all keep walking for a while until we reach my house.
"Hey let's all go to my house after!" I smile, glancing at the three men behind me. Two of them nod but Toby twitches more.
"U-uh let's not g-go there after. It c-could be d-dangerous."
I narrow my eyes a little at his answer but keep on walking to the tree that has the door built in.
"Here we are." I say glumly while taking interest in what Dr. Smiley is doing. He was using the tracking device, holding it up and down and walking around the tree.
"We may have to go inside, it's not catching anything." He hacks open the door with his leg and hops in, catching one of the bars on the ladder.
"Toby, you can go down, I'll watch in case anybody goes near here." Mr. Smiley says, pushing Toby along to the entrance.
"Y-yes sir." He salutes and swiftly climbs down the ladder. I go in after and say a 'goodbye' to Mr. Smiley.
Looking down, I see Dr. Smiley near the portal along with Toby, reaching his arms out for me,"It's ok y-you can just jump. I-I'll catch you."
Trusting him enough to do this, I release my grip from the ladder, the only thing keeping me up and safe. I watch as the ladder seemed like it was rising.
Then I felt strong arms catch me, one wrapping around my stomach, and one wrapping around my hip.
"Thanks Toby." I smile warmly at him, looking at the portal that was up ahead. Toby quickly lets me down and holds my hand. We both go right next to Dr. Smiley- But we both quickly jumped in after we saw the doctor run into the portal. The purple swirls were swimming around us, the solid color of purple showing. Suddenly, it all turns to red and we are met with the same red ground. Hearing lava pop next to us made me jump. I started looking around for Dr. Smiley, we could see him right near an island with a house.
It had a purple roof and green walls, dead plants in front of it and a lonely red chair next to it.
He turns and shouts,"Here it is!" Toby picks me up bridal style and sprints over to the doctor.
"L-let's go." Toby runs across the bridge and kicks down the door. We all see this golem looking thing-wait no it looked more like the rake-wait I don't know. It was a creature that had grey skin, small black eyes, no hair, and clothes. The shirt was torn and black, and there was a torn brown shirt wrapped around its waist. It stood there, mixing something with a stick in a black cauldron, smoke rising against its face. It glanced at us and bared its teeth, dropping the stick and jumping onto Toby.
