Hello guys, I know it's been a while... well, like a year. But I was too busy being depressed. XD
Jk.
I was busy at school, though we're already on a vacation. I just had to go there to get my clearance signed. Well, that's it.
Sooooo....
Finally, here's the chapter where Grace finally breaks out of her shell :D

"Where have you been!?" Kelly grabbed me the moment I entered the building. Excited much?
"Ouch." I said, removing my arm from her death grip. She loosened her hold but she didn't let go of my arm fully. "Are you done with the song?" she said, panic evident in her voice.
I pointed a finger to my eyes "Does it look like it's not done?" I said as she squinted her eyes to look at mine. I stayed up all night (AN: And danced around until we see the sun.) working on it.
"Oh my you look horrible!" she gasped as she took a closer look. "Well, thanks." I said a bit unsure. She looked at her watch and I did too. "10 minutes before they arrive." I said making her grab me tighter this time.
"Then we gotta get you on the roll. Now" she said and once again I'm being dragged through the halls.
Well, here goes nothing.
The claps assured me that I did just fine. I let out a sigh before removing the headphones and placing it at the table beside me. Kelly and Kent congratulated me as I closed the door to the recording booth.
I looked at them with a half smile. "Okay?" I asked them both in a whisper. My hands were slightly shaking and my knees were half way turning into jelly.
"You were great!" Kelly squealed hugging me.
I choked out a thanks before the top 3 producers walked in our direction, making me breathe uneasily. They were all wearing formal attires since they have a meeting after this.
"Congratulations." the guy who was about in his 50's patted me on the back as he smiled at me, which I returned.
"Thank you." I said, a bit shy, The other guy laughed. "Don't get nervous around us since we'll see each other everyday from now on." he said, making me hyperventilate again.
"Though I'd like to see you play." the guy who congratulated me said, looking inside the booth and I mumbled an okay.
"Well, I'd- we would like to see more of your performances." the third guy appeared and offered me his hand and I accepted it.
"I'd also like that." I said, my mouth taking over before I could even process the information that would change my entire life.
"You were great." Eric suddenly appeared after I closed the door. I turned around to face him, my eyes lighting up "You were there?"
"Yeah." he smiled back. We both walked side by side till we reached the elevator.
"You need a ride?" he said the moment the elevator opened. I looked at him in shock. What's the catch. He's being nice.
I squinted my eyes to get a good look at him. "What have gotten into you?" I said, poking his cheeks. "You drunk?" I asked him, taking a step back.
He shrugged "A way of congratulating you?" he said, a bit unsure of himself.
I smirked. "Okay." I said before going to the parking lot.
The ride was silent. But the atmosphere was comfortable, not awkward which is very usual whenever I'm with a guy. We talked to each other through sighs, like whenever the stop light turn red. Or whether a car passes us faster than lighting.
The world I tell you, is dangerous.
"Thanks." I said as my apartment came into view. I smiled at him before turning to the door. Eric stopped me with his hand.
I looked at him in bewilderment. But he was just staring at the corner of the building next to mine. "Wait." he said in a hushed tone, making me a tad bit scared at how he's acting.
We both waited for probably 5 minutes before a guy got my attention. He was wearing a black hat, covering half of his face. He went inside the building, the one that I live in. The security guard just looked at him and whispered something I couldn't make out. The 'scary guy' as my mind call him, walked inside like he lived there for years.
"Who's that?" I asked Eric who was bending his head, like he was trying to hide, making me more scared. "Wait." he said again, looking at his shadow that was starting to fade.
He opened the drawer in front of me taking out a cologne. "Close your eyes." he said before spraying it on me. The stubborn me just won't back down, because I asked him why a second before he sprayed it on me.
I coughed as I rubbed my eyes. "Told ya to close it." he said ,returning the cologne and looking at the entrance again. He looked so serious it made me shut up.
The guy walked out of the building faster than before, he faced the guard obviously angry. The two were arguing but no one paid them attention.
The guard shrugged as the guy raised his fist. He stopped midway before looking at our direction.
Eric didn't waste time as he immediately raised the car to life and drove faster than you could say 'What'
"What was that!?" I shouted at him, my eyes still on the road as my heart beats five times faster. He just looked at me with a calm expression.
"There's no choice. You have to go back."
My face dropped as my breathing fastened and my vision turned black.
My mind processing Eric's words before I went out.
"Pack."
