That is how I ended up like this. I woke up, sitting in a chair with ropes on my hands and feet. I successfully removed it, but that’s when this guy showed up with back-ups. I know I can’t fight, that my skills weren’t as sharp as before. So I just stayed still and let the guy do the talking.

But the catchy thing is, the person who I never imagined would be part of the whole thing that made my life miserable, was standing a few inches away from me.

Luke.

His blue eyes were filled with anger and hatred, just like the man who was laughing now.

I growled as I took a step forward, but one of their men held my arm as I felt something sharp and cold in my waist. The cold metal made me want to wince, but I held it. I wouldn’t give him the satisfaction.

Staying still as the man continued to press the cold iron against me is one of the top ten most horrifying moments of my life. And the part when Luke just shouted at me before walking out made it to the top five.

“What did you do to him?” my anger could be clearly heard through my voice. And the thing that made me madder is the fact that he was enjoying my state, pissing me off more than I was already.

He gave me a sly smile, “You know, just a little bit of torture here and there to forget.. everything.” He emphasized the last word.

Torture. Luke has been tortured? But that isn’t enough to renew his memory. They must’ve put something in his food or drink, meaning, he wasn’t a traitor. He was just forced to forget everything and join his pack!

The man threw me a confused look when he noticed that I was smiling like an idiot, absolutely weird considering I was kidnapped and thrown into an old factory with many mutated werewolves around.

“Why are you smiling!?” he shouted at me, irritated.

I wiped any signs of emotions on my face after. He shouldn’t know what I’m planning. Just stay cool and act like a hopeless werewolf.

“Tortured?” I asked him, pretending that I was worrying and on the edge of panic. Truth be told I am, but I’m pretty confident that they only used torture and some forbidden medicines to make him forget about everything.

Both his eyebrows were raised. He was trying to figure the change of my mood.

As expected, he only noticed a single detail.

I tried to hide the smirk on my lips, “Yes, and why? You don’t think that it’s not enough?” he made his way towards me. His agitation still present in his face.

My nerves were getting all excited as the plan formed in my mind.

The only thing that wasn’t planned was when he shouted, “Throw her behind bars!” his hands were up in the air for emphasis as two huge men held my arms in place before leading me downstairs.

Thank the Moon Goddess that the cell has a bathroom.

I held my nose as the smell of the room almost made me faint.

“Are you guys even cleaning this thins?” I slowly went inside when one of the huge guys pushed me.

At least the bunk was clean. The pillow and the blanket looked old but clean, but the floor wasn’t.

When I looked back they were already gone. My eyes scanned the whole jail.

People in different ages were all inside, staring at nothing. It was like they weren’t even aware that there was someone new in the room.

I need to get out of here. I thought to myself as a drop of water fell from above.

All I need now is to follow the plan.
