I silently hummed the tune of my original song 'Broken'  as I make my way towards the bathroom. My clothes on my right hand and my towel on the left.

I opened the door of my bathroom. It was just a normal bathroom, A sink, bowl, and a huge shower that's separated by a glass door. I walked inside before arranging my clothes on the counter, purposely made for it. I turned the shower on, testing the temperature.  Before I could remove my shirt, the doorbell rang.

I made my way to the door, opening it the moment I spoke "Yes?" I was facing a chest. Broad one may I add, my eyes raked upwards to see a grinning Eric. "What do you want?" my nice tone turned into a sharp one.

He smiled awkwardly. "Such a... nice thing in the morning eh?" he said, unsure.

"What do you want?" I repeated myself.

"Just stopping by." he lied. He shrugged completely ignoring the threat in my voice and the glare I'm giving him.

"You alone?" he asked, obviously taking a sniff just to make sure I was alone.

I was forced to step aside when he let himself in.

"Why? You gonna kidnapp me?" I rolled my eyes before crossing my arms, waiting for an explanation of why he had to interup my morning process.

It's Saturday for crying out loud.

"Just gonna kill you if you don't shut up." he said, his eyes taking in my living room.

"Fine, then hold your business, I'll just take a shower." I turned around, leaving Eric who was looking at the piano.

As I turned on the shower, the music coming from outside, slowly fades away.

"So will you tell me the real reason why you're here?" I said, walking out of the bathroom, drying my hair with my towel in the process.

He stopped playing and stared at me. His yes narrowing for a moment before he sighed heavily, running is hand through his already messy hair.

For a moment of silence that filled the air, I got tensed, he also looked up at me as he felt it too, nothing but seriousness in his eyes.

His stare was so intense I would've have flinched if only I didn't have the Alpha blood in me. "You need to come with us." he said, his Alpha power lacing in every syllable.

I straightened before I barked, yeah.. barked "And give me a reasonable explanation why I should."

I gave him a glare, which he returned.

"You need to help us."

"I already did." my glare only getting intense as his presence annoy me more.

"And what did I gain?" I continued.

"You don't have to get something in exchange to be who you are." he said, irritating me to the max.

I spoke through clenched teeth. "I've been living a normal and quiet life Eric."

"We'll it's time to go out." he replied, nonchalantly.

"..those things that I've avoided, after how many years of warming up.. just like that you'll push me in that..horrible world again?" I took a fistful of my hair in irritation.

"I don't even freaking know anything what's happening right now, except for the knowledge that I'll only acquire more pain." I continued.

His eyes softened for a bit before he composed himself again, "Then you've got to face your fears." he took a step forward but I took a step back.

Oh, the things I could do to him right now.

"..You can't hide forever Nathalie." at the mere mention of my name I almost went nuts. Almost.

The next thing I knew, my whole body's shaking, my teeth close to chattering. One more word from him I'll seriously do more damage than I imagined I could.

I'm fuming. If only I was a cartoon character there'd be smoke coming out from my nose and my ears.

I have only been angry once, but if you count this time, then it's twice already. I rarely blush, and when I do there's only one emotion that fills my whole body.

Anger.

No effort was given when he flinched away from my glare.

He opened his mouth but I warned him in my mind, since it's the only thing that could keep me sane. "Don't you dare SAY A WORD!"

A low, deadly growl errupted from my lips and he backed away, his hands up in surrender.

"If you're trying to convince me to return to the pack life, you're really doing a very..very bad job." I snapped.

His lips went to a straight line. He obviously hated being talked back to, but in my case, he don't have a freaking right to.

Maybe after 10 minutes of silence, I've finally cooled down.

I sat down on the nearest chair and looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

He sighed in relief before plopping down beside me "I thought I was dead." he said, sighing. If I wasn't angry at him I could have smiled at that.

I scoffed. "Good choice of shutting up." I rolled my eyes.

He growled "Don't disrespect me."

I growled back. "Then respect me." I snapped at him. That 'atta shut him up.

"In all honesty Na-Grace." he immediately corrected himself. "The pack really needs you." he continued.

I looked at him blankly. "You expect me to kill all those people by leading them?"

His eyes both widen "No no no no, there wasn't any sarcasm there! I swear!" he defended himself.

I rolled my eyes "Did I say there is?"

He sighed again.

"This is a lot harder than you thought huh?" I crossed my arms and looked anywhere but him.

He didn't move an inch when he replied, "Apparently the Moon Goddess' not on my side right now." he muttered.

Great. The Moon Goddess finally noticed how stubborn I am.
