I walked down the stairs with my hand supporting my head. Who wouldn't get a headache if you cried for 6 hours straight? It suddenly made me think how weak I am.

I entered the kitchen to see Eric with the two guys I've seen the last time I've been here.

Eric sent me a warm smile, I remembered that he was there to see me break down, which made me avoid his gaze.

"Grace." He said.

"Hey." I mumbled, making my way to the fridge to get myself some water.

"Is she the one?" I heard someone said, obviously one of the two guys. I felt Eric nod as no words came out of his mouth again.

"Grace." he said again, making me face two guys who are sending curious glances and a guy with eyes like a zombie, like mine. It was his choice to stay up late watching a girl cry over her life. Not my problem.

"Yeah?" I said before drinking the glass filled with water.

"I'd like you to meet my beta and third in command." he said, motioning to the two blonde guys who were both grinning at me. "The most handsome of the three." the guy with the hazel eyes stood up and saluted, while the other guy with the same eyes as Eric rolled his eyes and mumbled "The stupid one." he covered it with a cough, but being a werewolf, the supposed to be 'third in command' heard him and gave him a glare. "I am not!" he crossed his arms and sat down on his chair.

"yes you are." the beta simply said.

I raised an eyebrow at them. "Oh yeah, sorry. John, John Leonard." the third in command said in a bored tone, the total opposite of what I saw earlier. "Jake, Jake Cooper." the beta, or Jake, said with a smile.

Cooper

I think I already heard that surname.

Then something clicked inside of my head.

"You're Eric's brother!" I snapped my fingers. Jake replied with a shrug while Eric looked at me with an amused smile "Didn't think you'd notice." he said.

"Didn't so either." I said to myself.

"So what's your plan now?" I asked Eric. I can't possibly be going back to the city. Eric's enforcers told us that more and more unknown scents are being found by undercover pack members.

"Have you made up your mind?" I looked at him and he did, neither of us breaking the contact. "Cool! staring contest." John said, making Jake smack him in the head.

I have, indeed, thought about it. Before Eric left the room, he told me once more about it. He reminded me about my life ahead if I pick that particular choice.

I thought to myself that night, What do I have to lose? I've already lost everything. There's nothing to fight for anymore. So I'd rather face my fears than hide for eternity.

And that's what made me end up like this, a crazy guy circling me with his dirty rotten fangs, and a guy standing in front of me whom I never thought I'd encounter again.

Let's just skip this part and focus on my story telling. Okay? Okay.

"Just have to say Grace that you don't have anymore choice." Eric said, still not looking away. "You are needed." he said slowly, making me groan. "Just promise me one thing." I finally replied, making him smile a little bit. "After this, will you please leave me alone? Let me live a peaceful life?" I said, my eyes showing all the emotions I have inside, making Eric's eyes soften. "Yeah, if it succeeds." he said, standing up and walking away. Leaving me alone with this two creepy guys.

"Hey! We're not creepy." John said, making me glare at him.

"Leave me alone." I groaned, seconds closer to pulling my hair out. "The Alpha strictly said to keep an eye for you." Jake said, making me throw a curious glance over my shoulder. "What? I have to respect him as an Alpha too you know." he said, rolling his eyes.

After the incident in the kitchen, I decided to take a walk around the town. But Jake and John kept on appearing out of nowhere even if I take 3 turns in a row. Well, considering they've been here longer than me, they should have memorized every steps by now.

"So you're the one our teacher's been telling us about." John said, placing an arm on my shoulder. I looked at him, "I graduated 3 years ago, from the pack school." he shrugged.

Okay let me clear it up for you guys, everything humans have, have a replica on our world. Meaning, if the humans have schools, we also have schools. They teach us about surviving in the wild, battling, plant medicines etc. Although it's still our decision whether to go to the human school or our school. And, it's not really known in some packs, like ours for example, there are no school mainly focused on werewolves.

I still didn't let my gaze wonder of, "Every pack has it nowadays, what planet are you from?" it took a moment and a smack from Jake. He gave me an apologetic smile and I accepted it, everyone makes mistakes. And I have accepted the truth so I didn't hurt one bit.

Jake removed John's arm and walked up beside me. "You see, ever since you disappeared, a rule has been suddenly implemented by the Alpha's. We don't know why." he explained and I nodded.

What could have happened that made the Alpha's permanently put werewolf children into pack schools.

"..and our teachers have been mentioning you a lot." he continued making me look at him.. again.

His eyes widened "No no no, I mean they tell us the tale about you, though they don't have a clue on who he or may I say she is." he said a bit fast.

I let out a sigh "I'm nothing." I said honestly. "I didn't know what happened, everything came too fast, I couldn't bare it." I mumbled, looking up the sky as my mind replayed thousands of unpleasant memories. "I'm not great, I'm actually weak." I continued as flashbacks from that unfaithful day.

"The last one was foul." he said, not bothering to look at me as I saw him look up too. "It wasn't your fault." John said, making me smile. "But what's a title if I can't prove it?" I said at them in a whisper as pack members threw some curious glances at our direction.

They don't know anything about me. That's fine.

"You defeated the Wild Sky!" John said, in attempt to cheer me up. "We." I corrected him.

I wasn't the only one who worked hard to win in those years. It was everyone who wanted peace. It was those strong warriors who faced their fears.
