I woke up to see John in the same position and Eric and Jake in the opposite side. “Ugh.” I mumbled. My head still dizzy about the incident earlier. They were all staring at me so I decided to be the first to talk, “How long was I out?” I asked them. John looked at Eric before looking back at me, “One minute.” He said.

All I could say next was ‘oh’. Then I remembered my dream. It was impossible for the Moon Goddess to talk to me, after all that happened. Then I had to laugh at the thought that came next. My mother’s her granddaughter? HAHAHAHA that was one great trick.

They all looked at me like I had just grown another head. I tried to sit up properly, the three of them still looking at me. “Cat got your tongue?” I said to the three of them.

“What happened?” Eric asked me. I suddenly got nervous but I tried to hide it. “I just closed my eyes to stop everything I felt you know?” I said like they didn’t believe the fact that there’s a sun.

Great Grace, You’re being way too obvious.

“No, I felt you lose consciousness.” Eric said in a frown “Are you lying to us?”

“No.” I said in a calm voice, I should do the opposite of what I usually do so that it’ll be more convincing.

Or not. “Yes you are, you were supposed to be shouting at us by now.” He said. The two of them nodded.

“Nothing, why can’t you believe me!?” I shouted at them.

Then the three looked at each other. They were communicating. I stared at Jake since the two of them were looking at him.

She’s obviously hiding something. A gasp left my mouth when I heard Jake.

John looked at me. She’s crazy bro. There’s absolutely something going on.

I can freaking hear them! Oh my fudgecakes.

I didn’t speak a word as I ‘eavesdrop’ on their conversation. Which felt really weird and at the same time exciting.

Look at that face bro! It’s hiding something from us. I quickly removed the expression plastered on my face as John stared at me. He was totally going to get it after I finished this problem! He was looking at me like a poop! Such a rude boy!

Alpha, what do you think? I felt uneasy. It was the first time I heard them address Eric as their Alpha.

If she’s not comfortable sharing it with us we should just stop bothering her. She’s having a hard time. Eric looked at me with a soft expression that made me want to gag.

“Will you three stop that!” I said.

They shifted their focus to me. “You alright?” Eric asked me.

I rolled my eyes “Sure, ask that after I recover.”

“Yap, she’s back.” John stood up before helping me on my feet.

“Of course I’m back! What do you expect?” I shouted at them. And in a weird way. My ears hurt at the level of my voice.

We all winced. Then they looked at me. “You’re acting strange.” Jake said, making his way to the kitchen, our favorite place in the whole house, the three of us on his tail.

He took the juice out of the fridge before throwing us some glass. I grabbed one on reflex. And like before, they all looked at me. “What?” I asked.

Then I looked at Zach who was looking at a shocked Jake. I think she already has it

Let’s check it tomorrow Jake said and Eric nodded.
