My muscles ached in every possible way. I feel like I want to throw up.

The softness of the bed I'm in made me return to my sleep.

when did a cell bed become this comfortable?

Without a minute to spare, I fell asleep again.

A groan woke me up. My muscle  refuses to not ache.

I heard a deep sexy voice, "Where am I?"

My eyes shot open as I stayed frozen in my place.

My mind finally registers what is happening

Luke

I looked at the direction where I heard a voice that belongs to, non other than, Luke.

I remember now.

We escaped,

Eric found us,

Went to the pack house,

And we crashed down.

"Uh. Good morning?" I asked him once our eyes met.

Awkward.

He is looking at me like I'm drunk.

His hair was facing many sides, his blue eyea staring at me with confusion.

I swear, I heard crickets complain that they've been playing too long.

"Uh. Welcome! To uh the pack house!" I awkwardly said.

What should I say? Why are we even sleeping beside each other?

He just sat there. His eyes never leaving mine.

Then I felt everything my mate failed to do.

I'm... I'm... I think I'm in-

"Rise and shine! You guys have to eat!" Eric opened the door like he was in a hurry.

He walked into our direction, pulling the covers after reaching the end of the bed.

Luke turned to Eric, who was smiling like a fool. A flash of recognition filled his eyes.

"Eric?" My mind did a complete 360° turn when Luke called Eric by his name.

He grinned at him. "Thought you forgot about me dude." He took a glance at me before going over to Luke and placed an arm on his shoulders.

Luke looked at him, still unsure whether to come with him or not.

In the end, they both went down the stairs ignoring me completely.

Why do I feel like I'm the one who suffers amnesia, or am I just really unaware of Luke's life when he pretended to be dead?

A pain shot through my very chest the moment I tried to leave the room.

I crumpled to the floor beside the bed.

Shoot.

My vision swirld as I felt the air being knocked out of me.

I can no longer feel anything right right now.

My heart feels like it's been poked by a thousand needle.

I heard a crashing sound outside.

Are they here? Have they found us?

I crawled my way to the door, pausing every now and then to rest.

"Luke!?" I heard Eric's' voice downstairs.

It was an hour of pain, and no one saw me in that state.

It was a relieve to feel my body free from the excruciating pain.

But my mind wonders to Luke.

Has something happened?

Is he okay?

Then a voice I never imagined I would hear again suddenly made it's presence known...again.

Yes he's freaking fine. You thinking 'bout that guy rather than welcoming your wolf?
