“You owe me big time for this Grace.” He said looking back to the direction were we came.

Our heavy breathing was the only thing we can hear in the forest. I’m guessing we’re in the middle of it, because there are no traces of any humans or wolves in the area.

I collapsed seconds later.

I remembered how fast Luke ran, and how I was trying to catch up with him.

“What’s happening to you?” He stood there, looking down at me in disappointment. “I thought you were a wolf?” he raised an eyebrow.

Here we go again. Story time.

He sniffed the air and his eyes widened. “Half?” he questioned me.

I didn’t answer; instead, I just looked up the sky, trying to catch my breath as I summarize my answer. But I came up with nothing.

“I don’t know.” I honestly said. I really don’t know now. What kept on making me live this horrible life. I’m the grand-daughter of the Moon Goddess right? Or am I imagining things only?

He sat next to me and sighed. “I guess I’m not the only one.” He mumbled, but I heard it loud and clear.

“What was that?” I asked him.

“Nothing.” He said, leaning on the tree.

“You know, we should start going.” He sat up immediately as I heard faint murmurs on the direction of the pack house.

“Yeah.” I said, ignoring the ache in my body.

Butterflies in my tummy errupted when I felt myself being lifted in the air.

Luke is carrying me.

"We can't afford losing time." He simply said.

My face is facing his back and his hands on my butt.

My cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

"Do you know this pack of yours?" He said coldly.

I felt his eyebrows scrunch up in a way he used to when he's frustrated.

"Near the east wood." I said.

Buckle your sit belt Luke for I will make you remember everything.
