I never thought that after it finally sunk in that Luke is my mate, I would come to this place once again. It's my second time around, and I still felt the hairs on my body stood up when I hear that familiar voice.

"Welcome back, grand daughter." Her voice was melodic and enchanting. If I were a boy, I'd probably be horny right now. She's my grandmother for a banana's sake, I shouldn't be having those thoughts!

I looked around and once again found nothing but trees. It's quite disturbing, especially when I can't move my body. "Why am I here again?" I whined. I don't care if it's the Moon Goddess who I'm talking to. If she's my grand mother then I have the right to whine.

She just made me pass out while I'm changing.

You can imagine me, lying on the floor and my body barely covered by the little towel offered by the pack house. I started to think that my mom's really like her. I never paid attention though, I never did. My parent's and I aren't that close, so I didn't bother knowing anything more about them. But right now I can imagine my mom as worse as my grand mother.

She laughed, "I can hear your thoughts Nathalie." she said in a soft voice, but I heard a hint of disapproval.

I rolled my eyes at her. "What do you want?" I asked her, irritated. I want to go back to my body now and think of the problems that I will have to face when I get out of my room.

Then I felt someone look at me. I tried to look for that pair of creepy eyes but like I said, I was glued to my spot. So I was stuck there, my pupils moving while my eyelids are frozen, just like the rest of my body.

I'm numb.

My heart beat started to decrease as I think of why I couldn't move any muscle in my body. I was the edge of having a panic attack.

"I'm controlling your body." Her voice sounded like mine. She reassured my by using my voice, okay, that just made it creepier.

What are you trying to do? My question was directed to her. To the Goddess who was helping other wolves while she ignores the troubles of her own grand daughter.

"I'm ending everything you have on this world." A shiver run down my spine as I heard my voice again. That should seriously stop. It's really creepy.

But then again, I was faced with another bunch of questions. What is happening? The first thing I knew I ran away from Luke before taking a very long shower then I passed out.

I tried to contact my wolf but she was gone. Gone? I just got her today!

I don't know what to do now. First, I have to face Eric and tell him about Luke and I... (If there was even an us) then I have to talk to him about the whole me being Eric's mate thing, after that I have to train for the upcoming war that I have waited for less than ten years, then I have to...

Crap. I don't even know what to do next. Everything is just so messed up! It's my life! But why can't I understand a single thing that's happening to me!

I'd rather freaking die already!

Apparently, the Moon Goddess listened to my thoughts.

"I was trying to save you from that child... Death is near."

Luke's POV

I run my hand through my hair as the image of Nathalie appeared. I couldn't help myself but look at the wall where I had her pinned for a second, where all the memories and feelings came rushing back to me.

A smile escaped my lips as replay those words that turned me into a crazy grade school girl.

Mate

Her wolf has finally acknowledged us. And I couldn't be happier. All I have to do was make her fall in love with me again.

How can I do that though? I don't know anything about her life right now. I don't know if she still hates spaghetti, if her favorite color is still pink, if she still likes chocolate milk before going to bed,and if she still hates polka dots shirts.

I was interrupted by my thoughts when a loud crash made the whole building shake.

I jolted out of the room and into the living room, where the door was missing and the walls were on fire.

One person came in my mind.

Nathalie.

Shit. I have to find her!

The leader of the mutants may want her back!

But before I could take another step towards the stairs, I felt myself being thrown to the floor as blood gushes out of my side.

"We meet again Luke." The cold voice that I always hear in my dreams were echoing in the silent room right now.

Where's the others? I asked my wolf, who seemed to be more alert than ever.

They're outside...fighting. My wolf said in a low growl. I took a sniff and smelt all the mutants around the pack house. I heard the growls and slashing outside. I looked outside the entrance to see the whole lawn packed with fighting wolves. Some pack members were winning... some were losing.

The man threw me a grin, absolutely satisfied seeing me looking at those who are fighting.

I don't care. I need to find Nathalie and keep her safe.

I need to do the things I failed to do before.

"You aren't going anywhere Luke." The enemy growled before he run towards the front steps of the stairs, blocking my way.

"Leave her alone." I gave him a challenging growl as I realized it is their plan to take Nathalie.

And finally, I know the reason why they're so keen on abducting her.

I didn't miss the anger that flashed in his eyes. "She must be killed." He growled.

"Who do you say, must be eliminated?" Both of our heads snapped at the top of the stairs where a girl was covered in a towel, but it isn't what made me gasp.

It's her eyes.

Her eyes were the bloody red. Not just her iris but her whole eyes.

Then my gaze moved from her eyes to her right arm where the mutant's blood were spilled.

She threw the mutant into the enemy's feet.

I felt him smile as he stared down at the werewolf (mutant) whose neck was open.

"I truly admire your strength Nathalie." I growled as I saw him eye her down.

I was shaking furiously, by both the fact that Nathalie was just wearing a towel and because he even had the guts to talk to her like long lost siblings.

"Get the fuck out of here Nath." My eyes were focused on the enemy who seemed to be amused by the situation.

My hands instantly wrapped itself on his neck. But he didn't budge, he just stared at Nathalie with amusement and anger.

Before anyone could say anything.

The building exploded.

Nathalie's POV

What happened!? What happened!? I shouted to my grandmother who was still taking a hold over my body. And my muscle's are aching from all the standing. Let me at least sit down on this infected, dirty, muddy, worm infested place.

I felt some slight pain in my chest 10 minutes after my grand mom announced that I was going to die. Well, hello! I'm still here! Alive, perfectly fine, unharmed, angry and most of all, hungry.

Then a minute later, I finally got control of my body. I fell on the ground head first.

Finally I got control of my body!

But,  it did a little more damage than I expected because soon, I drifted to sleep.
