"We hold onto the lies to feel free, to shackled by smiles, so empty."

I felt someone shaking me, and my eyes awoke to see blurry vision, yet clear enough to were I could tell who it was."Anthony?" I questioned sitting up slowly as I was still partly asleep. I rubbed my tired eyes then looked around me to see no one was in the car.
"We're at the airport, here." Anthony said passing me some clothes, "um you're going to need to change in the van while everyone else is outside, it wouldn't look good if you showed up to the airport in an asylum uniform." Anthony joked awkwardly as he got out the van.
I groaned in annoyance as I slipped my pants off, feeling self cautious for if someone were to open the door. I changed into the black pants then slipped my shirt off, yet before I could put the black shirt on, the door opened and I saw Dan. I cursed under my breath as our eyes met, a slight blush appeared on both of our cheeks, his turning red as he looked away awkwardly.
"They said hurry up.." Dan spoke bluntly as he shut the door, making me sigh as I quickly put on my shirt and walked out the van. I looked over, and was immediately annoyed when I began to hear bickering coming from Chris and Dan.
"If you say one word to anyone, you're dead, Howell." Chris threatened as his face literally turned red from anger.
"As if you're going to do anything." Dan snickered back folding his arms as they were now released from the ropes.
I walked over to Chris, "fake passports?" I questioned putting my hand out, knowing he would already be prepared. He smirked then gave me mine, I looked down and noticed it was a different name then last time.
"Emily Charles? Sounds faker then my last one." I spoke sarcastically at Chris.
"At least you don't have Josh Joseph." Phil said taking a step forward and staring down at his passport while raising an eyebrow, causing me to laugh slightly.
"You people are psychotic." Dan mumbled to himself as he snatched his passport from Chris's hands.
"That's rich coming from you." Chris smirked cheekily as he nudged my arm, signalling me to walk with him as everyone else followed.
"Look, um, I'm going to need you to keep Dan 'busy' during the flight, I can't have him causing a scene." He explained whispering close to me too where no on else could here.
"And how do you expect me to do that?" I questioned.
"I don't know, keep him in conversation, try to be on his good side, flirt with him for all I care, just keep him busy." Chris explained dramatically as he rolled his eyes in a playful manner.
I didn't really want to talk to Dan at the moment, and frankly I don't think he wants to talk to me ether. Yet this was my chance to make things better, hopefully....
I slowed down my walking pace and ended up next to Dan, I decided I should act a bit more calmer, and change my attitude a bit, Assuming it could help with the situation. 'Here goes nothing..' I thought to myself.
I smirked and nudged Dans arm with my own, "you seem quiet." I spoke flirtatiously looking up at him.
"I wonder why." He muttered under his breath sarcastically causing me too sigh and roll my eyes. Silence filled in between us and I suddenly interrupted it, "I think you're just scared." I spoke turning me head over to him and squinting my eyes
He didn't answer and instead just put his hands in his pockets, ignoring me as he looked the other way.
"I'll talk to you later, grumpy." I spoke while nudging him once more and walking ahead, walking next to Anthony and Chris as Phil stayed close to Dan making sure he didn't go anywhere.
"So why is he here?" Anthony questioned to me as he looked over at Dan.
"It's a long story..." I sighed, "but trust me he he belongs in this group just as much as anyone else." I said in a calm tone referring to the fact that he's just as crazy as everyone else here, even if he doesn't remember it.
Anthony hummed while nodding, "I didn't want to say anything, but apparently you're my wife." He said laughing slightly as he pulled out his passport and showed me that we had the same last name.
I laughed, "good to know." I spoke thoughtlessly.
Yet before me and Anthony could carry on any further conversation Chris stopped walking as we got to the airport door. He turned around and walked over to Dan, grabbing his arm harshly, "if you make one stupid mistake, don't think I won't kill you." He spoke, his eyes deadly staring into Dans.
I took a step back feeling intimidated by Chris's sudden change of attitude, all Dan responded with was a scoff.
Chris turned back around and walked through the door, I walked along with him, "what the hell was that for?!" I asked in a loud whisper.
"Well I had to scare him somehow, we can't risk getting caught again." He explained defensively as he turned his head and walked away from me.

After checking in we had to wait in an extremely long line to go through the metal detectors, which made me feel slightly anxious as if something was going to happen. The thoughts began to hit me like a truck, are we actually doing this again? Are we going to get away with this? Is something going to go wrong? I took a deep breath to control myself as I looked in front of us and realised we were going through the metal detectors next.
The male officer held his hand up signalling Chris to come forward, which Chris did nonchalantly as he was trying to act normal. Yet as soon as he passed by it, the alarm suddenly went off causing myself to jump a little. The alarm then turned off as the officer pulled Chris aside. Oh no, I completely forgot, did he still have his gun on him? I felt my breath become heavy as my hands started shaking.
"Get ready to go back to the asylum." Dan whispered in my ear as he folded his arms, looking smug as a smirk appeared on his face.
I narrowed my eyes and ignored him as I looked over at Chris, fearing what was going to happen next."Sir move arms up in the air and move your legs apart." The officer demanded as he began to search him.
I looked over at everyone and they all seemed just as anxious and filled with anxiety as I did, well except for Dan of course who seemed confident that we were all going to get caught.
The officer felt something in his left pocket and at this point I could feel my hands building into a fist with anticipation, until to my surprise all that was pulled out was a small cellphone.
"False alarm. Just a cellphone." The officer spoke as he handed Chris the phone, "sorry about the inconvenience." The officer finished letting us all go through quickly.
I felt a sigh of relief escape my lips as I looked over at Dan who seemed to be on edge, and was in silence for being incorrect about us getting caught.
"That's what I thought." I said smirking at Daniel who just seemed to give me an irritated stare.
"California, here we come." Chris mumbled to himself happily as we began to board the flight.
