Oli's pov
I waited and waited for Natalie to come home, but she hasn't returned. I called and texted her multiple times, and of course no answer. Apart of me feels like it's my fault, but it's not really. I was just trying to get joint custody, but Natalie took it all out of proportion. We wouldn't have to do joint custody if Natalie felt the same way that I do. I really love her, and I want to spend the rest of my life with her.
Cassie walked out of her room with her phone.
"Where's mom?" She asked.
"Um, she's just out."
"Without you?"
"She needed some space, so I gave it to her. That's all. Go to bed Cass."
"Don't lie to me dad. Something happened between you and mom." I was taken back when she called me dad. That was the first she's ever called me dad, and it really hit me hard. A tear rolled down my cheek, and I realized that I should be out looking for Natalie.
"Get in bed Cass, I'm going to look for your mom."
"No, I want to go with you. She's my mom." I thought about it for a while, but I decided to let her come. We got in my car and I thought of all the places she could've went to. She doesn't remember where everything is, so she couldn't have gone far. I first drove down to the bar, but there was no sign of her. I went to neighboring stores and restaurants, and she of course wasn't there. My mates never told her where they lived, so there's no way she could've been with them. I'm also pretty sure they would've phoned me if she showed up at their house. My head was bombarded with all of these places that she could've went, but one place lingered the longest. What if she's at Curtis's house? There's no way that she could've been there, but I should just give it a check. The problem now is that I have no idea where he lives. I searched up his social medias, hoping he posted some sort of picture of his house. I scrolled down on his Instagram until I found a picture of his house. The good news was that I've seen that house plenty of times, bad news is that's it's all the way across town. I quickly drove to the other side of town, not waistline any time.
"Dad, slow down!" Cassie yelled, but I couldn't. I feared that if I slowed down, things would happen between Natalie and Curtis. What if they all ready shagged? I trust that Natalie wouldn't do this, but she said that she needed a drink, and she always does crazy things after a couple of drinks. 45 minutes passed, and I arrived at Curtis's house. It was 1:43, and Cassie was already asleep. I walked up to the door and rang the door bell, not caring if I woke him up. I heard a couple of voices and he then opened the door, wearing nothing but his shorts
"Oli, what brings you here mate ?" He says, rubbing his eyes. I must've woken him up, but I didn't care.
"Don't play dumb Curtis, where's Natalie."
"What... what ya mean?" I pushed him aside and walked into the house. I walked to what seemed like his room, and I saw a girl with long brown hair laying down in his bed. I was scared to see who it was, but I had to make sure it wasn't her.
"Natalie. Natalie babe wake up." The girl slowly rolled over and opened her eyes. The face of the girl that I loved was right there. Natalie, who was completely naked, was laying in Curtis's bed. Her eyes widened when she realized that it was me standing in front of her.
