That was it. They got together. After all the hassle and all the obstacles, life finally let them be together at peace.
And finally there were three couples in the squad.
They sticked together for ages. More like forever.
They even went to the same university.
But before that, there were so many other memories for them to hold on to.
Like, the prom.
THE PROM.
The event every high school kid waits for ever since they start it. And these kids were no exception.
"I am sooo excited omgggg!!!!!" Brooke shouted to the girls.
"I know right!!! I can't believe it's here already!", Haley said.
" You guys have your dresses ready?", Claire asks in confusion.
"For the past two months! Duh claire!", Brooke sighs.
"Oh umm... I think I have one too.", Haley replies with a smile.
"Okay, then I'm going home. I need to get my stuff ready cause I am gonna look homeless otherwise. See you at night", Claire says and leaves.
"Okay. Wait. Are the guys prepared and stuff?", Haley says.
"I hope so. Gosh they better put an effort. I can't be all dressed up beside Nathan looking like a dork.", Brooke replies.
"I feel like they will put an effort", Haley says giving a smile.
Haley was more excited than she ever could be.
Getting dressed, seeing Sam in a suit for the first time.
He hated dressing formal. No wonder she never saw him a suit. He always wanted things to be casual. He would always throw on a tshirt and a sweat pant. No matter what the occasion was.
She could not wait.
She took a shower. Came out. She styled her hair first. A braided updo. It took her an hour to get it perfect. She was not good with braids. Left her hair open at the end. Curled them with the curler.
Put on some high heels.
Sam was getting dressed too. He wore a nice white shirt. Put his shoes on. He had his tie ready.
"Nah. I think I'll put the tie on later", he thought to himself. He looked at the clock.
7:15
"Shit, I have to go to Haley's"
He was supposed to pick her up at 8. But he had to meet her before.
So he got dressed. He took his tie and his suit in his car. "
I'll put them on later", he thought.
He took another box in his hand.
"Mom! I'm going to Hales house. We'll go to the prom together. So I have to pick her up"!
"Okay. Have fun!", her mom gave her a kiss.
"Why didn't you put on your suit?!", her mon asked.
" I will. Promise. Later mom. Love ya! Bye"
He rushed to Haley's house. She knew he was coming at 8. But he reached at 7:30
Sam went up and rang the bell. Her mom opened the door.
Sam!!!", her mother welcomed her with a big smile.
"Mrs. James! So nice to see you."
"You too. You look very handsome"
"Thank you.", sam said with a grin
"Wait Is haley late? She isn't even ready yet!"
"No um actually I'm kind of early. Can I meet her?"
