*One and a half year later*

"It was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were supposed to be together ... and I knew it. I knew it the very first time I touched you. It was like coming home. .. only to no home I'd ever known ... I was just taking your hand to help you stand still that day and I knew. It was like ... magic"

Sam gushed to Haley as they sat on the swing chair of their balcony.

The bedroom was right beside. The view of the garden and the swimming pool shone in front of them.

Haley put her head on his lap and he started playing with his hair.
"I am so glad we ended up like this", he said.

He gave him a kiss on her forehead. Before she could utter a word, a loud cry came to their ears.

"Looks like your emotional speeches make someone other than me cry these days!, Haley chuckles.

"Yeah!! Seems so. Wait I'll go"

Sam gets off the swing and goes into the bedroom.

He comes back with a six month old in his arms. A beautiful baby girl.

She had brunette hair too. Just like her mom and dad.

"Hey! Look Dad is here now! Mom is here too!", Sam cradles the baby and sits beside Haley. He tries to make funny faces to make her stop crying. Soon she starts to chuckle and her blue eyes start to glow.

"She got your eyes!", Haley gushes
"And your lips", Sam says.
"Yeah"
"She is you and me. Together", Sam smiles.

"What else do we need", Haley cradles Emma into her lap and keeps her head on his shoulder.

"Nothing else. Right Emma James Scott?"
Sam plays with Emma's tiny fingers as she chuckles blissfully.

Sam goes ahead and gives haley a soft kiss.
Emma starts kicking her legs

"Woahh!! Someone is jealous!", Haley burst out laughing..

"Aww daddy loves you too baby bear", he leans in and kisses Emma's head.

"Hey, can you put on that song on your phone?", Haley asks.
"The one that you've been obsessed with?"
"Yeah. The coldplay one"
"Okay"

He put on "Something Just Like This" on his phone.

As the song started, Haley held Emma still between Sam and her and rested her head on his shoulder.

"Perfect", she gushed.

"I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts
Spiderman's control
And Batman with his fists
And clearly I don't see myself upon that list

But she said, "Where d'you wanna go?
How much you wanna risk?
I'm not looking for somebody
With some superhuman gifts.
Some superhero,
Some fairytale bliss.
Just something I can turn to.
Somebody I can kiss.
I want something just like this."

As she smiled at the sky, the clouds and the sun smiled back. Honestly, she did want something just like this.
