The Super Story of Katarina: The Saiyan Guardian

Many Months Later

I trained under Whis for three months. He became a little more open, kinder, but he still put us though rough training.

Whis put me through more training than chores, which Vegeta and Goku didn't really like, but they understood I had a little more training for a reason.

I was put through magic training by Whis as well as physical training. I got so strong so fast. I was able to spar with the boys in a month's time. The boys were glad I wasn't left in the dust, especially Vegeta.

Vegeta and I would wake up really early just to spar in the morning sun. Then Whis would find us training and putting Vegeta to work,while taking me to magic training.

Magic training consisted of different little exercises and meditation times to further connect and unlock magical abilities. Each magic training session brought Whis and I closer.

Then one day, while sparring with the boys, Beerus woke up. He didn't really enjoy the noise we made.

"Whis, why don't you make their training go faster by sending them to that one place? It would get them off this place alot quicker." Beerus remarked the one day, eating pizza.

"I didn't think it was a good idea at the time." Whis said, looking at the three of us.

"It's not a request Whis. It's an order, send them there."

"As you wish, Lord Beerus." Was all Whis said before we were whisked off into another dimention.

We were all suddenly in a bright white place, unable to move. The energy was flowing out of us as we used it.

"I can't move at all..." Goku said

"Neither can I, Kakarot!" Vegeta said as he was trying to focus. I then watched and saw that when he focused, the energy became bottled up inside him and he could move.

"It's a shame we have to bottle up our energy so it won't leak out of us." Vegeta said as he moved finally.

"I knew you would figure it out, Vegeta!" Goku said as he started concentrating. I did so as well now I was able to move around.

"This seems like the hyperbolic time chamber to me." Goku said as he thought about this empty space a little bit more.

"And the only thing in here is Whis' staff." Vegeta points out as the staff is far away, out of reach.

"I bet Beerus does some serious training in here! Let's spar! All three of us!" Goku yells with excitement.

"May as well, Kakarot.Who is teaming up on who this time?"

"You two can face me this time." I said and  the boys looked at me like I had five heads.

"Are you sure, sis?"

"I'm sure. Go ahead, gang up on me, don't go easy." I said the boys looked at each other then at me.

Suddenly Vegeta went for the first blow, which I blocked. Then Goku went for a kick to the abdomen, which I also blocked. Then we got into a rhythm. I didn't really get hit, a few here and there, but not a lot.

Vegeta and Goku seemed quite impressed with my progress, especially Vegeta. Then we broke our rhythm, just because Goku's stomach growled.

"I'm hungry!" Goku whined, sounding like he was never going to eat again. I decided to use a little bit of magic. I took my tie around my middle and guided it with my magic to grab a hold of Whis' staff. Once I had the staff in my possession, I held it like Whis. He did teach me about his staff, and he even let me use his staff during magic training.

"See if you can make something appear, Akari! I need food!" Goku yelled at me and  Vegeta slapped Goku in the back of the head for me.

"Give Katarina a break, Kakarot. It's not like she has previous knowledge of how to use this staff."

"Actually, in my magic training I have used his staff a few times. It's not that hard actually. I'll make something appear." I said as I tapped the staff down on air. It made a knocking noise and a few dozen pizzas.

"PIZZA!? SIS YOU ARE AMAZING!" Goku said and started eating a whole pizza all at once.

In a few minutes flat, Goku ate 3/4 of the mountain of pizza and Vegeta and I at the other 1/4.

Goku then grabbed the staff from me, hoping more food would come out, but it just made the boxes disappear without a trace. Once again, after our pizza snack, we got back into sparring.

Suddenly we fell back into Beerus' planet, myself still holding onto Whis' staff. I fell on my butt and Whis stood right next to me, waiting for me to hand his staff over.

"I see you found my staff. May I have it back, Lady Katarina?" I nodded, stood up, and handed it to him. His hand touched mine. He blushed when that happened.

"So, was that dimension a good place to spar?"

"It was, until you brought us back here. We all had a good rhythm going." Goku said as he was still trying to catch his breath.

"Were all three of you sparring?"

"Yes and Katarina can keep up with both of us."

"That's wonderful! I knew she could do it! Now Lord Beerus,here is your pizza."

Whis tapped the staff on the ground and the empty pizza boxes appeared. Uh oh...

"They are all empty, Whis!" Beerus said as he looked though all of the boxes.

"Yeah, since we got stuck in that dimention, we thought we were going to starve." Goku said and then Beerus started chasing all of us, yelling at us.

Suddenly the orb on Whis' staff flashed light a few times. Whis takes a look and talks about what he sees. He told us he missed a message from Bulma, but she looks in distress. Then Whis shows a projection of Bulma with a gigantic strawberry sunday.  We all stopped at watched the projection of Bulma.

"Whis! Why didn't you answer me earlier?! Frieza is back with an army! And we need Goku and Vegeta back. Now!" Bulma yelled, definitely showing the urgency of the matter.

"Can't you take us back to Earth, Whis?" Goku asked

"It would take 45 minutes for me to get to Earth." Whis replied

"They won't be able to survive that long. Kakarot, use that technique of yours." Vegeta said as he walked over to Goku and I.

"I can't sense anyone's energy. They are too far away." Goku said, disappointment in his voice.

"Katarina, can't you use your Guardian powers to lock onto someone on Earth?" Vegeta asked and I wasn't really sure.

"I can try..." I transformed and tried to lock onto a Saiyan on the field, Gohan. But even I couldn't sense it enough to do instant transmission.

"I can't either, the energy signature is too far away for me as well." I said, feeling like I let everyone down.

"Concentrate more you two, you have to keep trying or our we will never see our families again!" Vegeta told us as we started concentrating again.

Suddenly we were able to sense energy on Earth. It was Gohan's energy for sure.

"I've got something! Hold onto my hands you two, we are going." Goku said as we held onto Goku's shoulders and we got back to Earth in enough time to deflect Frieza's Death Beam attack on Gohan.

Suddenly Gohan fell out of pure exhaustion. He used all his energy just to give us a beacon to lock onto. That was truly a brave thing to do.

"Well if it isn't the group of monkeys. Looks like you apes still travel in meaningless packs. What is going to happen this time, you boys going to protect that pathetic girl or something? Each pack always has a weak link to protect." Frieza said, once again making fun of Saiyan kind.

"No, but I'm going to be the one taking you on first though. Sorry Vegeta and Akari, but he is mine."
