A four course meal that is elegant and even worth tasting without a staff of my own. Instead, Mr. Satan makes me sound like I am the best chef in the whole universe. He made me sound like I don't need a staff, just these two hands.
Well, I have never done a four course meal all by myself in a time constraint. Honstly, this can turn out to be a complete failure or the best thing since the battle against Buu.
I just hope I can live up to the legend Mr. Satan made up for me.
"Could you possibly tell me everything you told them about me?" I asked Mr. Satan as I started putting a half apron on and hooking a cloth on my pants to dry my hands.
"Well, you have a legend that is as great as my great legend."
"So you made me seem like the goddess of cooking. Good show."
"You can do it! Don't sell yourself so short! You are talented. I wouldn't have signed you up if I didn't know you could do it."
"But I have never done something like this before! I'm suppose to have a team of chefs."
"But you are no ordinary chef, Akari." Then his voice got down to a whisper. "You are a Saiyan chef. Saiyans do the impossible all the time. You can do it. I know you can." He smiled and I half smiled back.
"Besides, you wouldn't want to let anyone down."
"Not at all... not at all." I said, folding my arms as the alarm rang out.
We were now starting this stressful competition. I started by making my home made ramen noodles to make fresh ramen for a course. I also went to prep my vegetables for it and for my other dishes.
Then my phone decides to ring. It was Vegeta on the other line.
"Hey, Katarina, what is the greatest food you can think of?"
"Really?! You are asking me that question now?!"
"Well, you are a chef. You know food."
"I'm kinda busy, hun. But if it's to impress Whis, then I would do something unpredictable." I said as I sliced carrots, onions, and other various vegetables.
"Okay, thanks."
"No problem, Veggie."
"Really?"
"I'm just messing with you, Vegeta. Love ya, gotta go, wish me luck!"
"Knock 'Em dead, Katarina." He said and I smirked.
"Will do, Prince Vegeta." I said as I hung up the phone. Next I had to break down the chicken for the main course.
After awhile I was able to season the chicken, throw it in a skillet and let the skin get extra crispy.
I started to make the rice for my main course, which was going to be seame chicken and pork fried rice. It took awhile to cook rice.
I was also starting my other course of sushi wraps. Skillfully cutting some raw tuna, do make some spicy tuna wraps. I also had to try and make other courses, as well make then elegant. I had to level up all of these different dishes to make them out of this world.
I was doing pretty well with no sous chefs around my kitchen, just myself, the ingredients, culinary know-how, and the clock. I needed to keep going with this whole competition, I needed to show my best.
After a bit, the clock was running down, now I needed plate my creations. The clock ran down even more as I plated my last course.
Time was called and I basically was collapsing from the pure exhaustion of the competition. It was now time for the judging. Was I going to make Mr. Satan proud or be a laughing stock...
