Chapter 36

Mia's P.O.V

"I'm so sorry, Mr Seavey has...fallen into a coma" my heart stopped. I collapsed onto the floor, not believing my ears. God knows for how long, I need him, I love him.
"It would be best if you all go home for now, you can visit him later today" the doctor informed and went back into the room. I shook my head refusing.

"No. I'm not leaving without him" I state, stubbornly.
"Bub, cmon" Jonah said upset pulling me back, the tears come out uncontrollably, I wish Daniel would come out right now, tell me everything's okay, run up to me, engulfing me in a hug, lean in, our lips connecting, causing fireworks between us once again. I wish.

I give up as Jonah holds me protectively and walks back to the car. Katie fell asleep again on my lap and once we got home, I put her to bed to take a nap considering she didn't sleep much last night in the hospital. I, on the other hand, still couldn't sleep, Daniel was still occupying my thoughts.

Until, finally, I had enough, I had to go be with him, I made sure Katie was okay and grabbed my car keys, zooming off to the hospital.
Once I entered, I ran to Daniel's room, there was no doctor or nurse, I opened the door walking towards Daniel.

"Daniel James Seavey, you will open your eyes so I can finally look into them after 3 godamn years, look at how we've grown since being two immature fucking irresponsible teens. We have a little adorable angel who needs both of us, not just one. You left me, I left you, but our love is way too stronger to be pulled to pieces. I love you. I love you so much. So don't leave me now, please, don't leave me, I need you, I miss you...I love you" I finished in tears.

I saw his hand twitching and smiled through my tears. Suddenly, I heard little footsteps behind me of someone entering and saw Jonah bringing in Katie then exiting the room.
"Daddy please wake up" she said in a little voice. I looked at her and smiled then noticed, Daniel was squirming and my smile only grew bigger.

"She needs you Daniel, I need you" I said as I laced my hand with Daniel's and Katie placed her tiny fragile on top of ours, he jolted awake.

Opening those stunning, perfect blue eyes.

Daniel's P.O.V

I heard them. I heard everything Mia said, and what Katie had called me. I tried to get out, escape, go back to my family, but to no avail. Until, they had both placed their hands on top of mine, they pulled me through. I opened my eyes, revealing the two most special people in my life.

"I heard everything" I say removing the oxygen mask, panting till Mia puts it back on,
"Daddy' Katie says grinning making me smile through tears,
"Hi prince" Mia says smiling making my smile grow wider. Jonah realises I'm awake and informs the doctor as he bolts in, ushering out Mia and Katie.

He does final checkups on me and hands me some medication to take. It's disgusting, the pills make me wanna vomit. And some sort of antiseptic cream to apply to my wounds.
"I'm surprised I don't have to put you in a wheelchair" he comments. Well, I'm lucky then.
Once I get changed into my clothes, I see that the rest of the boys and Taylor are outside the room at this point, waiting for me.

Mia's P.O.V

I watched as Daniel limped outside the room and we rushed to help him. Once he was safely inside, we drove back home and throughout the whole drive, Daniel still couldn't get over the fact that Katie called him daddy and made her repeat it several times. I found it really cute.

Once we arrived back home I took Daniel straight up to bed, just as I turned to leave and let him get some rest for the night, he grabbed my hand and I turned around.
"Stay" he said. I looked into his eyes again. Oh god, those eyes. They never lose their magic, they never fail to mesmerise me. I'm forever drowning in the sapphire pool. I didn't even realise we were leaning in closer.

I looked down at his soft lips, until finally, after 3 long years, they met, our lips collided, moving in sync without missing a beat. The fireworks exploded without fail as he wrapped his arms around my waist and I entangled my hands in his hair. We pulled back after a while, out of breath,
"I missed that" he said looking deep into my eyes, "me too" I said, drowning into his.

I climbed into bed with him, my head resting on his chest, but being delicate due to his wounds, he wrapped his arms around me, shielding me and kissed my forehead,

"Goodnight princess"
