Chapter 37

Mia's P.O.V

I woke up to familiar soft breaths, I looked up to his face as a smirk spread across it,
"Good morning princess" he said in his gorgeous raspy morning voice, I smiled,
"Good morning prince" I replied. We stayed in that position for a couple more moments, until Katie entered the room, joining our snuggle session.

"Morning angel" I said along with Daniel.
"Morning mummy, morning daddy" she replied, after a while, I finally decided to climb out of bed. As we were eating breakfast, Daniel came and wrapped his arms around me,
"Princess?" He asked, I hummed yes in response, "I have a surprise for you today" he said cheekily, I smiled and turned to him,
"What kind of surprise" I raise my brow in curiosity, "you'll find out, just be ready" he said to which I nod.

After a while, I decided to get ready and change into this:

I then curl my hair and apply my makeup and went to the lounge to rejoin the rest. Apparently, they were all coming, we got in the car and drove off to the secret location. Daniel's hands were covering my eyes and when we got there, he uncovered it.

It was where we had our first date. It was just as beautiful as beautiful as it was back then, the fairy lights strung over the seating, a perfect overview of L.A to watch the sunset. It was truly mesmerising, memories came flooding back as I stepped forward admiring everything. I was too mesmerised to realise that Daniel had his guitar out at this point.

At this point, I was trying to fight the tears as he began serenading me with Nobody Gotta Know and handed me a rose, I was too happy to realise that at this point everyone was here. I looked around me. Everyone that I love, Jack, Zach, Corbyn, Jonah, Taylor, Logan, Jake, Anthony, Chance, Martinez Twins, Erika, Tessa, Kade, my little angel Katie. And my prince, the love of my life, Daniel.

I looked back at Daniel to see he was on his knees, I covered my mouth in awe, at this point, letting the tears escape.
He held out the same promise ring he did 3 years ago on my birthday...he kept it.

"Mia Rose Carters, since the day I saw you, I fell head over heels in love with you, we've had ups and downs, but like you said, our love is too strong to be pulled to pieces, you make me so happy, look at how far we have grown since being two reckless teens three years ago, look at how many people support us in everything we do, whenever we are together, it is just you and me against the world, we've got an adorable little precious angel of a daughter who depends on us, both of you make me immensely happy. Being without you for three years made me grateful for every little thing, it showed me how much I need you. This ring. This ring means so much to both me and you. This location, means so much to me and you. These people, our best friends, our family, mean so much to me and you. That's why, I have to ask right here, right now. I know we are really young and have got so much to live for, but that's why I'm doing this. Mia Rose Carters, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" He said now with both of us in tears and so was everyone else.

I couldn't say anything but nod, "yes, yes, a million times yes!" I exclaimed as he hugged me, twirling me, then leaning in as our lips collided.
I look around me, the joyful atmosphere, with the people I love the most.

I want to call it happily ever after but I know, it's only the beginning.
