A scream erupts out of my throat as I see Savitar kill Iris. Grief consumes me in the short time it takes to run to her. I run to her and she drops in my arms, clinging on to dear life.
"Iris, come on you can get through this," I say as drumsticks fall out of her pocket.
"BA," she says, leaving me confused.
Something clicks and I realize that it's HR.
"HR?" I ask.
"Yeah," he says, turning back to normal.
Tracy and some others come rushing up to us.
"HR?" she asks in disbelief.
"Yeah, Tracy," he says, gasping.
"No no! We just found each other!" Tracy says between sobs.
"I know and I'm sorry," HR says.
"No!" Tracy screams as his body becomes limp.
"I'm going to end this. One way or another," I resolve before getting up with tears of anger in my eyes.
My jaw is clenched, fists made and tears welling up in my eyes. Iris runs towards me and wraps me in a hug but all I can think of is getting revenge for HR.
All I can think about is the feeling when his body went limp. The anguish in Tracy's screams. The sadness that set over us almost instantly. The fact that even though Iris didn't die, I'm still consumed with rage and sadness.
