I turned around and saw a stranger. He was smiling and was looking at Zero. I was sure about that. I tilted my head to the side and saw Zero's grim expression.

"Excuse me but who are you?" I asked the guy. He looked at me and smiled even wider.

Koyah, chillax lang baka mapunit ang bibig mo sa kakangiti diyan.

"Oh? Haha! Where are my manners? I'm Jason Jaime Montenegro. An old friend of Zero's." he said, emphasizing Zero's name.

Jason.

Baka siya yung Jason na nagtetext sa'kin! "Ikaw ba yung--"

"What do you want, Jason?" Zero spatted.

"Oh nothing. Just wanna answer the pretty girl's question." he then clicked his tongue.

Nagpalit kami ni Zero ng posisyon. I was now at his back. "Umalis ka na, Jason kung ayaw mo ng gulo." Zero said, sternly.

Old friend? More like enemies.

Jason chuckled. "Doesn't it sound weird? Haha! Sinong Jason ang pinapaalis mo?"

Eh?! Nakahigh ata siya. "Syempre ikaw. Ikaw lang naman ang Jason dito, e." singit ko.

Liningon ako ni Zero na nanlilisik ang mga mata. "Shut it, Niui." he said.

"Ooops. Sorry!" sabay peace sign. Ibinalik na din niya ang pansin kay Jason.

"Oh, so Niui ang pangalan niya. Breathtaking." Jason said, smirking.

Uhh. Nawiweirduhan na ako sa kanya.

"Back off, Jason."

"Is she your girl? Woah. Haha! I'm happy for you, man. Really happy for you." he replaced his smile into a frown.

The two of them were intimidating. The tension was getting stronger and my instinct told me that we should leave.

Hinawakan ko ang kamay ni Zero but he didn't budge. Nanatiling nakatingin siya kay Jason. They were throwing daggers at each other through eye contact.

"Come on, Zero. Kailangan ko nang umuwi." I said and that seemed to snap out of his thoughts.

"Tara." sabi niya saka hinatak ako. Napalingon ako sa likod and saw Jason waving goodbye.

He is a one weird guy.

Nang makarating kami sa bahay ay dire-diretso kaming tumungo sa salas namin.

My heart skipped a beat and my cheeks heated up when I realized that Zero was still holding my hand. Just one more time...

KYAAAAAAAAAAA! ASDFGHJKLQ! Naggigimme na yung mga organs ko!

But then I remembered...

HINDI NIYA NAITULOY ANG SASABIHIN NIYA KANINA! WAAA! HUHUBELLS!

Kung di lang nakialam yung Jason na 'yun, e di sana alam ko na ang reason ni Zero! Kakaimbyerna!

"Are the two of you dating?" Zero and I looked up and saw Reige upstairs.

Agad namang binitawan ni Zero yung kamay ko. "No." sabay naming sabi. Napatungo nalang ako habang napakamot ng batok nalang si Zero.

"Tss. You fools. The both of you are blushing!"

Napaangat ako ng tingin and glared at my evil brother.
