Ethan's POV

I was in the process of renting a tux- or should I just wear my band uniform? All it is is white shirt and black slacks and nice black shoes. Let's just go with that.

I'm wondering what McKenna is going to wear? A blue dress with black converse and a headband? I don't know! This is our first homecoming that we've been to. We never go to homecoming because Kenna is always anxious about other guys looking at her and trying to pick her up.

Don't get me wrong Kenna is gorgeous, but I don't want guys hitting in my best friend. It's awkward.

McKenna's POV

I handed the dresses I didn't like to the lady and I carried the one dress that looked stunning.

"Oh! I need one more thing!" The lady followed me to the bra section. I looked for a strapless 38C. I know, big. I found one and we scurried back to the cash register.

Carol, the lady that helped me, stood behind the cash register and rung me up.

"That will be $108.47"

"Thank you!" I gave her my money, she put it in a nice bag that would protect it, and I headed to Icing. I walked in and got some cute little diamond earrings for my double piercing on my ears and some glitter-fume they call it. Then I got in my car and headed home.

When I arrived at home, I ran upstairs to get ready. The clock on my phone read 2:30. Okay. I got some makeup my mom used to wear and picked out the perfect blush, lip gloss, and eyeshadow.

Ever so gently, my hand dipped the eyeshadow applier into the teal powder. Then the teal ended up on my eye ever so perfect. I applied the eyeshadow to both eyes perfectly, and gently. Then the eyeliner made it's way to the bottom of my eyelid, by the eyelashes, and on the bottom of my bottom eyelashes. The mascara was applied after that.

The bright pink blush landed on my cheeks so perfect and so light. Then I decided to curl my hair. I didn't forget the lip gloss, that comes later cause that's easy to do. I picked out my favorite head band and put it in my hair. Then it was about 4:45. I just sat in exercise shorts and a huge t-shirt watching Doctor Who. I watched one full episode when my dad came home.

"Hey honey!" he said embracing me

"Hey dad!"

"First homecoming right?"

"Yeah"

"Well you look lovely!" he said while looking up and down.

"Your hair!"

I looked in a mirror and the curls went away. I turned around and my dad was gone. He came back downstairs with a weird looking curler I've never seen before. He went into the bathroom and plugged it in.

"Come here!" He hollered from the bathroom

I trudged over there and stood in front of the mirror. My dad did my hair and it wasn't good. It was EXCELLENT! The curls were big and all over the place it was magnificent! Who knew my dad could do hair and cook!? He sprayed hairspray on the curls and put my headband back in.

He redid my make up since it looked uneven. By the time he was done it was 6 and Ethan was picking me up at 6:30. I went upstairs to put on my dress and my shoes and get ready. I put on my dress which matched my sapphire eyes and brunette hair with blonde highlights. It was perfect. I rummaged through my mom's old shoes and found little black heels.

I didn't know what to do for 5 minutes. I was bored. Until Ethan pulled up. I gave my dad a kiss and Ethan knocked on the door. I let him in and my dad had to take pictures. First we took a serious picture. Then we took a silly picture. It was awesome.

Ethan's POV

I pulled up into McKenna's driveway and got out of the car. I was nervous. But I managed to knock on the door. McKenna opened the door. Damn. She was beautiful. Her dress matched her beautiful blue eyes, her hair was all curly and pretty, and most of all her makeup was perfect. Everything was so perfect about her.

Her dad had to take a photo. Or a bunch. We took a serious cute photo and then a silly one. Either way they were adorable.

After she said her good byes I escorted her to my car. I was a gentleman. I opened the door for her, held her hand when she got out, and stuff like that.
