The funeral was held two months later at the same place they buried McKenna's mother in San Francisco. McKenna's dad quit his job a couple weeks after the ntragic death, but his last pay check could pay for McKenna's friends, Jake, Brooke, and Leslee, plane tickets to California. The rest of the family was already in San Francisco and they showed up a couple days after the kids and dad.
Jake and Brooke started dating a little after Valentine's Day the following year. Kelly wasn't a bother any more after Spring Break, when she moved to London when her mom was sick. Ethan, Brooke, Jake, and Leslee started volunteering at the children's hospital to help cancer patients. It took forever for them to move on after that day McKenna Walker died from her brain tumor.
(And thats a wrap! I know its the worst ending ever, but im glad i got this many reads in this amount of time, my other one just reached 830 reads and it's been up for months.
