It was relatively cold, for it was November. Hawaii was beautiful. The oceans were crystal clear, they were blue, and the ocean sprouted with living creatures. But it was the last date. It all came down, to the last date.
*7 am, Hawaii time*
"Wakey wakey Kenna." A voice cooed. "C'mon hun, wake up."
"I'm up. I'm up" I sat up, stretching out as I yawned.
"Today is going to be fantastic. I'm taking you on a date baby." Jake said pulling me up and pecking me on the lips.
"I can't wait already."
We walk out to the living room to find everyone watching TV.
"I wish the world was back to normal!" The TV said. I knew what they were watching as soon as 'I wish' was said.
"Really guys? Fairly Odd Parents?" I mocked in disbelief.
"It's all that was suitable at this time during the day." I rolled my eyes at the weirdness of my friends. And dad.
"Okay get ready." Jake said pushing me towards my room.
"Okay okay!" I shouted back and closing the door.
I finally picked out the cutest outfit for today. A rainbow palm tree shirt with a small tie at the bottom, black shorts, blue ombré vans, my pink lip gloss, my infinity ring Jake bought me, and teal eyeshadow with a purple outline. It all took an hour to complete. Wow, us girls take a long time.
I walk out all dressed up, and now everyone is is watching some crap on television. It was eight in the morning, and I was seriously wondering why Jake got me up so early.
"Ready." I said trying to get their attention.
"Okay. See you later Mr. Walker. You too Brooke and Leslee" Jake and I said our goodbyes. And we headed off.
(A/N: I know it's going a little fast and crummy. I was behind and I get bored with my stories after a while. Sorry guys!)
*after a long time of shopping and stuff*
He took me out to ice cream like the old days. Or, like two months ago. We walked around town, looking for souvenirs. We spent the whole day together, and it all came down to the sunset.
Sunset was a bouquet of colors, from orange to yellow to pink. The reflection of the water was any color but blue. Mostly yellow and orange tints.
Jake broke the awkward silence between us, "Hey Kenna?"
"Yeah?" My heart beat out of control. I don't know why, it just wasn't a feeling I got often.
He looked at me with a pained expression. His eyes were sad, his face wasn't a color, he was sad.
"I know you're dying. And it's going by fast." He was almost to the point of crying.
"Why are you bringing this up?"
He said no words, but instead cried on my shoulder. I let him lay there for a minute or two. Then, I lift his head to make him face me.
"Don't say I'm dying, although it's true. Because it's just a miracle I'm alive right now, and that we made it here with out complications."
Jake then slammed his lips into mine. The kiss heating up in a matter of not even milliseconds. He cupped his hands around my jaw, and pulled away.
"I love you." He placed his forehead on mine.
"I love you too." It was my turn to lay my head on his shoulder. We just sat there, doing nothing for an hour.
