Jack teared up. I cried at the memory and I felt Jack's arms slowly pull me in.
"Shhh it's okay" Jack G whispered.
I just kept calm. I didn't make a huge scene. But then Gilinsky chuckled.
"What's so funny?" I said pulling away.
"You remind me of my girlfriend." He chuckled again.
"Who's your girlfriend?"
"Marleigh Alexander" he smirked
"NO WAY! You mean the Marleigh Alexander?!?"
"Yep!" He said popping the 'p'.
"Tell her I say hi!"
"Just tell her yourself."
"I won't see we until Tuesday though."
Jack G just kept smiling like an idiot.
"What!" I nudged Gilinsky which almost woke up Johnson, but it didn't.
"She's meeting me at the airport!"
"Doesn't she live in Portland? Why didn't she ride with you?" I was really puzzled at that statement. I mean, Marleigh lives in Portland, and we just came from Portland.
"She was already in LA before I flew."
I shrugged, "Okay. If you say so!"
Then the pilot came back on the intercom, "ladies and gentlemen we will be landing in 30 minutes. Please fasten your seatbelts and have a great time in the beautiful state of California!"
"I think we should wake up Johnson." I said taking a drink of Cherry-Lime Arizona.
"Witch" Gilinsky said.
"That's what Ethan used to call me. His Little Witch."
"Oh I'm sorry."
"It's fine"
We glanced at each other and nodded. I took Johnson's phone and turned it all the way up. The music I mean. That woke Johnson up.
"What the hell?" Johnson whisper-yelled.
"Sorry. He dared me!" I straightened up and pointed at Gilinsky.
Johnson did nothing but glared at Gilinsky. I couldn't help but laugh. Oh man, no wonder why they are vine famous. And damn, those abs though.
But we were already descending, and I had so much fun.
"Well it was nice meeting you guys! I'll see you Tuesday." I shook both their hands as people were gathering their suitcases.
"It was nice meeting you too McKenna! See you Tuesday!" Johnson said. He soon exited the plane leaving Gilinsky behind with me.
"Well, good luck on the Ellen Show. I'll see you Tuesday!" Jack G saluted so I saluted back. We exited the plane side by side, walking into the airport. I saw Marleigh sitting in a chair waiting. She looked up and shot up. Gilinsky set down his bags allowing Marleigh to jump up into them.
I continued to walk to the tile floor looking for my chauffeur. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I whirled around to see Jack G with a sad look.
"Leaving already?"
"Well I have to look for my chauffeur."
"You never said 'hi' to Marleigh." He said pouting his lip. He revealed Marleigh from behind his back. I won't hide it, I fangirled.
"Oh my-oh my-oh my" I stuttered.
"Gosh?" She smiled, "I get that a lot. And you are?"
"McKenna. McKenna Walker." I shook her hand violently.
"Very nice to meet you. Jack, we gotta go. The boys are waiting at the hotel."
"Okay babe. Nice seeing you McKenna! See you again....Tuesday"
"Bye Jack!" I walked down stairs to try to find my chauffeur. I saw a man with a sign that said my name. I walked up to the man.
"McKenna Walker?" He said in a deep voice.
"Sure am!" I plastered a smile on my face. He was happy to take my bag and lead me to the limo.
Once he opened the door and he climbed in himself, he said, "My name is Bill. But you can call me Bill."
"I'm McKenna. You can call me Kenna" my chauffeur reminded me of Morgan Freeman. He was black, not to be racist, white wispy hair, and he had the deep voice for it. He drove me to a hotel called Hotel Los Angeles. I know. Cheesy. But the inside was just as beautiful as the sunny sky. Tile covering the floor, palm trees in every corner, bell hoppers walking around, a velvet spiraling staircase leading up to the other five floors.
"This place is magnificent!" I exclaimed.
"You haven't seen your room." Bill intended.
Those five words made me hype up. I followed the bell hopper up to my room. Bill was right. It was excellent.
One queen sized mattress with beautiful bedding, one bathroom with a huge counter space, a beautiful sight of LA out of the curtains, the white drapes hung just over the top corners of the windows. Everything complemented everything. Just like it should be.
