Waterfall

The pool down the street, it was big. It brought me back to the day I met Jake. The Cameron Dallas resemblance that is now my boyfriend.

The pool was a weird jelly bean shape. The deepest end as a diving place. And off to the side-but still connected to the pool water- was a water pathway. You take just yourself, and the water controls you. Pilots you towards a big spinning circle. It looked super fun. And then there was a waterfall. A small one, but it made the pool stand out.

"Guys this looks super fun." Brooke says, putting down her towel and jumping in. "It's warm."

"Me next!" Jake said making a huge splash. Leslee took a jump, and I finally jumped in after a few words of encouragement.

"Wow, it is pretty warm." I point over to the water-path thingy. "Let's go there."

We strut towards the thing, and go in. It was very fun.

It was five in the morning. Everyone was up. I usually slept until ten or so. Wait a minute; Hawaii is five hours behind Florida. But it didn't stop me.

I made a cup of coffee for everyone, except for Brooke. She hated coffee. So I made her hot chocolate.

"Here you guys go. With my signature whipped cream special." I boasted, setting my fists on my waist.

"So what are we doing today, dad." I asked taking a sip from my cup.

"I don't know. A little sight seeing. There's a maccadamian nut farm I want to see." He replied flipping through a brochure.

"Okay, I'm up for that." I shrugged.

"Sure, okay." Leslee groaned.

"Miss Grumpy, what's wrong."

"I'm tirrrred." She moaned, collapsing into a pillow.

*some hours later*

"There it is!" My dad exclaimed pointing to a house. We drove into the driveway. It was a house. But there were more than ten people gathered in a circle. But then split apart, carrying spoons with some grains or something.

Everyone was crying, I didn't understand. Until a woman in her 60s opened a plastic bag, contained with grey ash.

"Dad, this isn't a farm." I noted, "they are spreading ashes."

He looked at me, partly embarrassed he drove in on them and partly like 'we should get outta here' look.

(A/N: heyyy! Sorry for the short chapter. But I just wanted to say, the last part on the farm was a true event. It's an event that took place in Hawaii, 2012. I was spreading my great grandpa's ashes on his old nut farm. A very emotional time. I dedicate that last part to my great grandpa Bell. I love you.)
