"I can't believe we are going with you!" Brooke squealed with excitement. We were all in the waiting area for the plane. It was mid-morning for our flight to Hawaii. A 10 hour flight, without difficulties or delays, should get us there by 8 at night.
"I am too. The best memory I'll ever have." I said draping my arms over the girls' shoulders.
"I can't wait to feel the heat over there. I heard it can be hotter than here." Jake said reading a brochure of Hawaii.
"Flight 729 now boarding." The woman announced over the microphone. We grabbed our stuff and waited in line for our boarding. As soon as we got into the Alaska Airline plane, we took our assigned seats. Brooke, Jake, and I sat in one row as Leslee sat behind us. And my dad sat in front.
As the stewardess announced the flight safety rules and procedures, the plane taxied out on the runway. Jake was jittery, for this was his first flight on a plane. Soon, the plane took off, leaving the clouds flooding the town below us.
-
We landed somewhere in the three states on the west coast. Brooke was passed out, while Jake was looking out the window.
"Hey, do you wanna listen to my music?" I offered. He replied with nodding his head, but still looking out the window. I pulled out my plug that lets two earbud things plug in at once. Once I pressed 'shuffle', Michael Jackson started playing. I leaned into Jake, and he turned his head right as I plunged into him. Making our lips lock for a couple seconds.
-
My eyes flickered open like a dying light bulb. Everyone seemed to be awake with me. I tore out my earbuds from my ears, and peeked out the window, seeing the clouds rise above the plane. I shook Jake awake, and his eyes flickered open.
"Hey, babe? We're landing now." He took in a deep breath as he proceeded to wake up. I turned to Brooke, showing excitement on my face.
"I'm so excited!" I whisper-yelled. She looked at me with a blank expression, which turned into a huge smile in a second.
"I am too!" She shook her fists up and down in pure excitement. Nothing could ruin this trip. Even if I died tomorrow, I would still be happy.

We ended up at the Enterprise a mile or so away from the airport. We got a 2009 Dodge MiniVan to fit the five of us in. We drove down an empty road to a beautiful condo. It was like a mini penthouse.
"Okay guys, let's get rooms settled. We have two bedrooms, only one has a bathroom though." My dad explained. Then he added, "Jake, you are sleeping separate." Jake just nodded.
After a little while, Leslee, Brooke, and I took one bedroom, as my dad took the one without the bathroom. And Jake, he just slept on the pull out couch.
"Hey, uhm, guys? Wanna swim?" Swimming brought back so many memories. It was when I met Jake, and I had a great time. "there's a pool just down the street." I say, pointing to the direction of the pool.
They all got up and went to their suitcases to get a suit.
