CHAPTER ELEVEN ________________________ "Teamwork." Orochimaru stood in front of the two teenagers, his hands clasped together behind his back as he talked."Something you'll be using in days to come."
"We've worked together before." Nao said with a shrug, her now thigh-length hair grazing her legs.
"When we were on a team." Sasuke clarified, clutching onto his katana.
"It's needed you two work together." The snake man insisted, peering over at the two."Nao is the host of the Nine Tails, and you, Sasuke, are a bearer of the kekkei genkai necessary to control her. You two go perfect with each other."
"Yin and Yang." The Uzumaki said with a small smile.
"Exactly." Orochimaru nodded."Now, show me what you can do."
Sasuke pressed his forehead to the girl's, activating his Sharingan with a simple flicker of his eyes.
A gust of wind flew around them, the red-haired girl obtaining a yellow, flame-like glow around her as she opened her eyes and was met with the boy's red ones.
"Truly beautiful." The older man to the side of them murmured to himself, watching the interaction with a curious expression.
"Learn how to keep your chakra steady, would you?" Sasuke asked in an annoyed tone, masking his surprise with a grimace as he stepped backwards.
"I am, ya know!" She exclaimed, narrowing her blue eyes to glare at him.
"It's all over the place!" He shot back, crossing his arms.
"Because that's my Nine Tails chakra." Nao frowned, mimicking his actions.
"You're annoying."
"You know you love me." She sang, flashing him a bright smile.
