"No, no, no."

"Sasuke.."

"Shut up!"

The sole Uchiha stared down in horror at the limp body in his arms. It couldn't be. Why would she do this?

"Man, she's gone."

"No she's not. Shut up!" He screamed, pulling her closer to his chest. Her red hair flowed down her shoulders, fresh tears brimming her eyes while blood trickled down her torso.

Her yellow-haired and usually happy brother collapsed onto his knees, sobbing only a few inches away from them.

"You have to save her." Sasuke pulled on Sakura's arm, bringing her down towards her unresponsive friend.

"I-I can't." The pinkette shook her head.

"Save her!" He growled, his grip on her forearm tightening.

"I can do it." Karin said calmly, rolling her sleeves up.

"You killed her?" He whispered, a single tear escaping his eye as he spoke.

"No. She's.." Itachi set her down on the ground, taking a step back."She's just like you."

"What?"

"She's too weak to even bother killing. Like you." He repeated slowly, a tear also slyly making its way out of his eye.

But the younger Uchiha didn't notice. He fell to his knees to bring the Uzumaki kid close to his body, sobbing into the crook of the neck of her temporarily limp body.

"I can't lose her. I can't lose you." The teen muttered to himself, burying his face into her neck in shame.

"Baka." She said softly, ruffling his hair."You wouldn't be my Sasuke if you didn't act like a jerk to me from time to time."

"Save her."

"You don't have the right, ya know!" She continued to cry, but pulled back to look at him."Making me worry. You don't have the right."

"Stop worrying, blockhead."

Sasuke started to shake."Wake up."

"You need me?"

"I need you."

Rain started to pour, the drops wetting the red hair that he loved so much.

"Why do you always have to do that?" The boy muttered in an annoyed tone.

"Do what?"

He adjusted his position on the ground."Act like I'm some sort of hero to you."

"Because you're my savior, Sasuke Uchiha."

"Almost done." Karin said softly, her hands continuing to glow green as she healed her family member.

"Can I sing for you?"

"..No."

"But I want to make you feel special!"

He smiled, ruffling her hair affectionately."I already feel special, Baka."

"Good! Cause I love you a lot!"

"WAKE UP!"

Slowly, the girl's eyelashes fluttered open, revealing her vibrant blue eyes that shone with tears she had unconsciously.

"Oh my god." Sakura whispered, hiding her face in Naruto's shoulder as she cried in relief.

"Sasuke?" Nao wiped her eyes, staring at her friend curiously.

He said nothing, but pulled her into a tight hug.

"Nao..Nao.."

"Sasuke? Why are you crying?" She reached up to wipe his tears with her thumb, not minding her own.

"You got hurt because of me." He answered roughly."You died."

"Baka Sasuke!" The girl bonked him on the head carefully with a bright smile."I almost died protecting you."

"You almost died trying to fight that guy off by yourself! I cried for days, Sasuke. I can't bear to see you like that again. And you won't be if you stop-"

"I almost died protecting you."

"Baka Nao." He gave her a small smile, which surprised everyone greatly.

Her smile grew wider."What are you smiling at?"

"I'm smiling at you, blockhead."
