"Do you really have to go?"

"Yeah."

Nao smiled sadly at her raven-haired friend, her newly bandaged hands reaching up to grip his lone arm.

"It isn't forever, Baka. I'll come back." Sasuke rolled his eyes, but nonetheless pulled her closer with a small sigh.

"Oh! Here's a picture so that you don't forget me." She reached into her jean pockets, taking out a slightly crumpled photo.

The Uchiha looked down, examining the picture with a small smirk. It was a year ago, on her birthday. Orochimaru had forced everyone to throw her a small party, full of surprises and gifts. She sat on his lap, with her usual bright smile, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"You're so extreme." He commented with a slight chuckle."I'm coming back. You don't have to worry."

"The day I stop worrying is the day we stop being friends." The girl spoke lightly, sparking a memory of them from the past."And-"

"-And that's not going to happen anytime soon." Sasuke finished, sliding the photo into his coat."I know."

"Don't you hook up with any girls while you're gone, alright? I know you're seventeen now and all, but-"

"What are you, my mom?" He interrupted with a raised brow.

"I just don't want you getting heartbroken, ya know! There's too many girls who don't even deserve you." She clarified, grinning.

"I have my heart set on someone. You know that." He cocked his head to the side.

"Yeah, you never told me who." Nao muttered, looking down at the ground with a visible frown."I want to make sure she's good enough for you."

He nodded."Trust me, she is. She's the best girl you'll ever meet."

"Well, I can't wait to meet her." The red-haired girl admitted solemnly.

Sasuke scoffed quietly so that she wouldn't hear, but forced a smile anyways.

"I can't wait for you to meet her either."
