A FEW YEARS BEFORE
"Look, look!" Nao shouted, a bright smile gracing her lips as she pointed up at the sky.
"What?" Sasuke asked, his onyx-eyes flickering from her face to the bright blue sky.
"It's a puppy! Don't you see it?" She adjusted the position of her head on his chest, grinning up at him stupidly.
"It's shaped like a cloud." The raven-haired man shrugged, adjusting his position on the grass.
"You have no imagination." The girl pouted, shivering slightly as wind breezed past them calmly.
"Are you cold?"
"No."
He clicked his tongue, pulling her closer to give her warmth.
"Hey, Baka Sasuke." The Uzumaki hummed, closing her eyes.
"What?" Sasuke continued to stare up at the puppy-shaped cloud, scoffing lightly.
"Do you resent me?" She asked quietly, opening her ocean-blue orbs so that she was staring at the scenery around them.
He raised a brow in a confused manner."Why would I resent you?"
"Because I'm keeping you from traveling the world like you wanted to." Nao bit her lip nervously.
"Do you think I'd be here right now if I resented you?" He spoke harshly, yet softly.
"I don't know."
"The reason I'm here is because I love you and rather be with you, Baka Nao." He rest his chin on the top of her head, sighing heavily.
"Guess what?" She grinned once again."I've always secretly loved you, truly."
Sasuke let a small smile show."You know what?"
"Hm?"
"I've always secretly loved you too."
