CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO ______________________ A FEW YEARS BEFORE "So sorry I'm late!"
"We said to be here at one." Sakura reminded her with a sigh, checking her watch."It's two-thirty."
"Even I was here on time." Naruto bragged, sticking his tongue out at his sister.
"I was helping an old lady cross the street! She had lots of groceries." Nao explained with a sheepish grin, clasping her hands behind her back as she took her place next to her friends.
Kakashi chuckled."Typical."
Sasuke's onyx-eyes analyzed her appearance. Her incredibly long hair was pulled up into a ponytail, her ocean-blue eyes flickering ever so slightly as she watched the people in front of them converse.
She always had a smile on her face, though. Occasionally, the Uzumaki would laugh lightly at a comment her brother had made, or a sarcastic mark from their silver-haired sensie. He always seemed to be entranced when he looked at her, and a light blush was spread on his cheeks at the thought.
"Sasuke! Did you get the autograph?"
"Huh?"
"The autograph I wanted. You said you'd get it for me." She repeated, tilting her head at him in an innocent manner.
"Y-Yeah." He stuttered, bringing a piece of paper out from his short pockets. He mentally cursed himself for the grammar mistake, causing him to look away from the girl.
"Thanks!" She grinned, leaning over to give him an affectionate kiss on the cheek.
This earned multiple murmurs from the rest of their teams.
The Uchiha turned back to face her."What was that for?"
"I thought you'd know by now. I kissed you because I love you, Baka!"
