"Hey, how do you think we would've turned out if I didn't make an effort to be your friend?" Nao asked thoughtfully, looking up from the tomatoes she was slicing with ease.

"We still would've been on the same team."

"Wow. You're so smart." She said sarcastically, rolling her ocean-blue eyes.

"Shut up." The onyx-eyed man muttered under his breath."We probably wouldn't have been as close."

"That's true.." She nodded in agreement, sliding the Uchiha's favorite food onto an unoccupied pan on the stove,

"I think.." Sasuke hummed."That we would still end up together."

"Why's that?"

"Do I really need to explain?"

The red-haired girl pointed her knife at him, waving it around carelessly."You can't just say that and not explain, Baka!"

He growled."Stop waving the knife around, blockhead!"

"I'm a ninja, ya know! They call me the War Goddess. Do you really think I'll throw a knife in your face, you idiot? Be quiet!"

"I know, I was there. Stop yelling."

"Don't treat me like a child and just tell me why."

He shook his head in amusement and said,

"We would end up together because we we will always be meant for each other, Baka Nao."
