《 Ship 》 》 Nico X Female Reader
Key:
[H/c] = hair color
[E/c] = eye color
[S/c] = skin color
[Y/n] = your nameAfter twenty-six minutes, thirty-four seconds, and eighty-eight tries, I give up on trying to begin an essay for English class.
"Need help?" I looked up to see Nico di Angelo hovering over my computer, looking over my essay.
"You're good at English?" I ask.
He nods, "And Italian." I nod in return; it makes sense.
"Yes, please."
He sits by me on the bus bench, and looks over what I have so far. "I think we can work on grammar later. . ." he mumbles, but I'm unsure if it's to him or myself.
I brush my [h/c] hair behind my ear, and play with the strands at the top of my head while I think. I notice him type a couple of things, and blush as I look at his hands. He has really nice hands.
"So your introduction began too evidently. There's no hook. You need to find a good hook, maybe a question would work, or state a common misconception or stereotype. Try that first." he advices.
I nod, but inside I'm dying of uncertainty. I don't know what to write!! I suck at English! I begin typing with Have you ever and then I froze.
After a moment, Nico spoke up, "So do you know of any stereotypes about your topic?"
I shake my head. He opens a new tab on my computer and inserts into Google moths and bees stereotypes. I watch as he clicks open three different resources for me. I begin to skim each one.
As I do so, I feel Nico inch closer, his head above my shoulder as I look over. I turn to face him, and he looks in my [e/c] eyes. He unlocks a grin, and then turns back to my report.
"Now you have to reword." he says, and types a few examples, still smiling. I smile too.
"Okay." I said, while thinking, Who knew English could suddenly get so interesting?
After I finished my hook, Nico began explaining a thesis statement. I nodded all the way through explaining, rubbing my [s/c] skin.
"Um, [y/n]." Nico interrupts my typing, and places his hands on mine. His hands are on mine! I blink a few times to let him type above me, fixing a few mistakes. I didn't realize it until he was done, but I was breathing heavily through my chest. I brushed my pointer finger down my nose, almost certain I'm blushing.
"[Y/n]." Nico says quietly. I smile, loving how he said it. He said it with. . . love. Oh my gods. I quickly spin as he grabs my hand, but I squeeze it even tighter.
"Yeah." I say, feeling his surprisingly soft hands. I brush my hand through his dark hair, ruffling it as we subconsciously inched closer.
"Yeah." I repeat, intrigued.
He leans in for a kiss, and I do too, but I turn my head to plant it on his neck. I pull back, smiling.
"Thanks for the help on my essay." I close my computer before it drops, watching it get nearer and nearer to my kneecaps.
"Any time." Nico winked, and stood, walking about his business.
Yeah.
