Nico sighed and leaned back against Leo's shoulder, "I swear, for the amount of butterflies there are in this park, they'd at least think to give out free butterfly-repellent."

Leo was already asleep, however, and Nico rolled his eyes. He started complaining and grumbling to himself, "Stupid little f*ckers, flying at sporadic angles and getting all to freaking close to my face."

He looked around, and there was an odd red butterfly with black wings flying around a small patch of milkweeds. "I do think you're beautiful," he told the butterfly across the drift of wind separating them, "Just don't come near me."

The butterfly, however, did not listen.

Nico shrieked as the butterfly flew at angles, passing just by Nico's nose. He put his hands up in the air to shoo it away like a fly, and it was off into the sun without another sarcastic deny of requests. Nico felt over his face, "Shit, it feels like it's still there."

He shuddered, and he felt Leo wrap his arms around him groggily, "What did the butterflies every do to you?"

Nico cringed, "Flew in my face like that."

Leo smirked and kissed Nico's neck, "Cute."

"It is not!"

"It is, too."

(A/N: You know what's funny? I'm afraid of butterflies yet my name is literally Butterfly in English.)
