Nico X Male Reader

I take a deep breath. It's now or never.

There's so many possibilities of what could happen. He could completely hate me. He could completely love me. He could be okay with it, but not love me. We could become distant. Out of four possibilities, one of them is good, but so unlikely to happen.

Nico isn't gay. I mean, look at the way he looks at Annabeth! Look at the way he looks at Thalia! Reyna! He's probably in it for the make-outs, too. What is love to the son of death?

I take another deep breath. Either way, it's now or never.

I knock on Cabin 13's door.

Nico opens the door. His hair is wild, his eyes show his sleep-deprivation. He wears a baggy black tee that has a skull on it, and black skinny jeans down to his ankles.

"What?" he demands. I keep myself from blushing.

"I, um, wanted to talk to you." I say. He nods, and leans on the doorframe, listening.

"I, um . . . You see, the thing is . . . Look, I, um . . ."

"You like me." he interrupts. My eyes, not realizing they had looked away, snapped back up at him.

"W-what? You knew?"

He smirks and steps closer. He lifts his hand until it's in my hair. "Boys like you are easy to read." he says. Then he pushes his lips delicately on mine.

For the longest time--that might've been just a second--I felt his lips on mine. As I was closing my eyes, he closed his. I knew people had to have been watching, but I couldn't care about what others think of me anymore. I moved my hand into Nico's black hair.

"Boys like you are easy to see." I reply. He grins slightly and pulls our lips apart.

"Yeah. That's why I wear all black." he smirks again. That smirk.

I smile, pushing my hand through my short hair, not sure what to say or do.

He gestures towards the people with cameras behind us. "You okay with that?" he asks.

Aw, is he getting all protective already?

I look back and shrug, "Who cares anymore?" With more confidence this time, I'm the one to push our lips together, my fingers under his chin.

One thing I forgot before coming here; demigods fall against all odds.
