From my own book, "The Death of the Big Three's Children," I now present to you: Nico's Death.

He looks around, not really comprehending anything. His eyes are wide open, but dull. People are screaming at him, but he hardly hears the muffled sounds. He let's out a screech as the pain grows burning and unbarable, as his blood and life force oozes out, pouring all over the cement and his sister who attempts to stop it with Percy's shirt.

"Nico, no." Hazel whimpers. She continues pushing the shirt on the boy's chest, but he just grunts and tenses.

"No." she repeats. No. This can't be happening. she thinks in a panicked tone unlike her sad voice. Lively, in a way.

Nico sputters out some blood. "NO, NICO!" she sobs. "You can't leave me. You shouldn't have done that, you can't save me from death twice, Nico!" He doesn't hear her, his eyes closing.

Percy, the only other person with the boy, takes his head in his lap. He let's out tears, but has a strong, steady voice, "You did good, man. We love you. I love you. Rest, bro. It's okay."

IT'S NOT OKAY! Hazel wanted to scream. But it wouldn't help.

Nico's dying, he'll be gone soon, and that's just that. Not enough healers, not enough time, not enough strength and speed. Every hero goes at one point or another.

"I love you, big brother." Hazel leaned over and kissed his cheak. She tried smiling, but it was sad.

Nico coughed, a whine mixed in it. Percy brushed the boy's cheek and shushed him, and glanced up at his wound. He whispered words to the Son of Hades,  which Nico is now too exhausted to attempt to pay attention to. Hazel continued to sob, holding her brother's hand.

Nico drew in a breath, and let it out.

He drew in another breath, then let it out.

Another, and out.

He drew in another, and let it out.

He drew in another, and it, fell out, it escaped on its own.

Hazel cried harder. Percy tried not to scream.

This was the death of Nicholas di Angelo. This is the death of the Ghost King. The last time they'll ever see the boy again.

It will be remembered.

(A/N: This book has been removed, so I'm posting it here. There will be more deaths, possibly more than one for each character. Thanks!)
