*Hazel's POV*
"Hazel. Wake up!" "What?" I said rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. I opened my eyes to see Terrence towering over me. "Get up. You didn't even take a shower last night." Terrence said. "What time is it?" I ask rolling over to my alarm. "7:00." Terrence looked at my clock. "WHAT!?" I sat straight up almost hitting Terrance.
"Why didn't you wake me up!" I shot a look at him. "I thought you were getting ready!" He shot back. "Ughh. Get out! I have to take a shower!" I got out of bed and pushed him out my room; grabbing my towel on the way.
I quickly got in and out of the shower and went to my room. I got dressed in denim jeans, a white shirt with a blue rose on it, and a blue beanie with a set of brass bracelets with white and blue high tops. I looked in the mirror. I guess I'm going with the blueberry look.
The guys are so gonna make fun of me for this. "Hazel. Are you ready?" Terrence shouted from the kitchen. "Coming!" I say. I grab my backpack and phone and leave the room to the kitchen.

I walked in the school and something felt different. Like everyone was more excited than normal. I chose to ignore it and headed to Ryan and Grant's lockers. "Yo!" Grant said. He walked up to me and did that bro hug that guys do. "Okay..." I say awkwardly. " Grant seems more excited. "Hey Hazel." Mars grinned. "Hey Mars." Then Andrew and Ryan ran up to us. "Woah! Calm down. What's the rush?" Grant said confused.
"He's back!" Ryan said panting. "He's came back from his suspension." Andrew said between breaths with his arms on his hips. "Who?" I asked. "Our friend." Mars turned to me. "Who?" I asked again still confused. "We have another friend Bryan and he had gotten suspended last week and now he's back." Mars answered. "Um, okay, I guess." I puzzled. "You'll like him. Trust me." Andrew said still trying to catch his breathe.
Then all of a sudden the hallway went silent and heads started to turn and people were whispering. "I'm so confused." I whispered to Grant. People were moving out of the way as to form a path for this guy. Then he came into view.
A kid wearing sunglasses with dirty blond hair who wore a white t-shirt with black pants and black high tops.
He looked over to us and walked our way. Oh. My. Gosh. I was a bit scared of what he would say if he say a girl hanging out with his friends. "Hey." Grant said. Him and Grant did this sort of handshake and he hugged the rest of the boys. Then he got to me.
Everyone in the hallway was looking at us. He took off his shades to get a better look at me.
He looked down at me and then look around at the boys. "Who is this?" They all looked at each other and him in silence. "Who is this?" He repeated. Ryan stepped up. "This is Hazel. She's new. She just came yesterday...." Ryan looked down at his feet.
I don't know why they were so nervous.
Then he continued, "She's our new friend?" Ryan's voice went higher as he talked. "New friend?" He looked back to me. "Do you have a problem with a girl hanging out with your friends?" I looked up at him. "Actually, I do. Leave." He tried to shoo me away but I didn't leave. "Who's gonna make me?" I crossed my arms. He turned back to me. "Leave." He commanded again. "No!" I stepped over to him. "What?" He stepped to me.
Mars then pulled me back from him. "Look, Bryan. She's new and she didn't have any friends. So we went to talk to her." Mars stepped between me and Bryan. "Just get to know her. She's really nice to talk to. I promise." Mars looked at me and smiled. I guess Bryan saw this.
