"So how was school for everyone?" Andrew asked. We all looked at him weirdly. "Wait, never mind." He said smiling at Delilah. She smiled back of course.
"Hey Mars." Olivia said walking up to us. "Hi everyone else." She said putting on her nicest smile. "Hopefully everything's okay with Delilah." Olivia said placing her hand on Mars' cheek. "She'll be fine." Mars smiled, removing Olivia's hand subtly. "Still wanna hang out?" She asked.
Mars looked to Delilah. Her face clearly read that she didn't want to go home for some reason. "Yeah. Is it okay if Delilah comes?" Mars asked. Olivia's eyes got brighter. "Yeah of course." "Cool." Mars smiled.
"Well, we got to go to practice. So we'll see you peeps on the flip side." Ryan said gesturing to Grant and himself. "Alright. See you guys later." Bryan waved as they left. "Yeah I should probably get going to. My mom doesn't like waiting." Andrew said as he left.
"I guess that means we should go to." Olivia smiled. "Yeah. I'll see you guys tomorrow." Mars said as he left with Delilah and Olivia.
"Wanna go now. I don't want to be here any longer than I have to." Bryan turned to me. "Sure." I smiled. "So where are we going?" I asked him. "To get some food and then to the park. But we do have to finish our project." He checked his phone for the time. "Yeah. Are we almost done?" I asked. "I would say so." He nodded.
-------------------------------------------------------
We had gotten our food and went to the park. We sat down at a table to work on the project. "I think it needs one more bar and then it'll be done." Bryan said adding half of the bar. I played it. It sounded nice. Like an actual love song. Not one that some teenagers made to pass a class.
I added the last bar to finish the song. "Yay! We're done!" I said doing a small victory dance. Bryan laughed. "Nice! Wanna go walk around now?" He asked. "Yeah. That'd be nice." I smiled at him as I put my computer away. We finished our food and began to walk through the park.
"Do you have any siblings?" Bryan asked. "Yeah. I have a older brother and a younger sister." I said. "Do you?" "Yeah. I have a sister around the same age as Delilah." He replied.
"Oh cool. My sister is the same age as Delilah too!" I said sounding surprised. "That's such a coincidence." Bryan laughed.
"Wouldn't it be cool if they all went to the same school and became like best friends!" I laughed. "That'd be insane!" He smiled.
We walked by a small waterfall and stopped there. "This is beautiful." I said in awe. "Yeah. I love it here." Bryan smiled at me. He looked into my eyes and I looked back.
It was as if we were caught in a moment. I noticed him leaning towards me. I closed my eyes and let him kiss me.
It was like the last one. Electricity. He pulled away. "Hazel..." he trailed off. "Yeah?" I asked. "I got to tell you something." He said looking down. "What is it?" I asked. He looked at me again.
"Ever since I meet you I thought you were like the other girls at this school and I didn't like you right off the bat. But I got to know you and I learned you shouldn't judge a book by it cover. Now since we hang out and stuff I come to really like you as a person and I would love if we could be more than friends?" He said looking deep into my eyes. I was speechless. He actually likes me back!
I hugged him and he hugged me back. "I would love to be more than friends." I smiled.
Update - 2/12/19: I was gonna change the last part but I like all the comments about mega best friends so I'm keeping it XD
