*Delilah's POV*

Beep Beep Beep Be-

I heard Mars' alarm, which woke me. "Delilah get up. We have to go before Melissa wakes." Mars said. I could still hear the sadness in his voice from last night. I turned over to him.

He was wearing a black t-shirt with jeans and white shoes and a black watch. He must've been up before the alarm.

I got up and went to the small rack of clothes I had. What do I wear? Then I remembered. I'm meeting a friend today! So I picked out my best outfit.

A black long sleeve shirt with denim shorts, black boots and a red flannel to tie around my waist. We finished getting ready and left out the door without Melissa finding out I was gone.

------------------------------------------------------

We were walking for a while until we stopped. Mars checked his phone. It was still pretty early. "C'mon." He said grabbing my hand and continuing to walk. "Where are we going?" I asked him — noticing an ally was coming up.

"Nowhere. Just keep your mouth shut and don't say or do anything stupid." Mars said leading me to the entrance of the ally. At the end there was a door.

"Let's go." Mars said as he took me to the door. I took one look at the door. It had carvings in it that said things on the line of 'Wolf Pack' and 'It always comes back.'

I know what this is. "Mars...you shouldn't be doing this." I cried. "Be quiet." He said squeezing my hand tighter. I shut my mouth at the tightening of his grip.

He knocked five times and a moment later I could hear footsteps on the other side. Heavy ones. The door sung open. There was a big man with bulky arms and sleeves of tattoos. He wore dark clothes and big boots and wore one of the meanest faces I've seen.

"Mars?" He said in confusion. "You got a minute?" Mars asked. "Always." The man said then he looked down to me. "But her..." "She's my sister. Remember?" Mars said bluntly.

"Yeah. But she can't come inside." He said smugly. "She could last time?" Mars puzzled. "Well you haven't been here in a while. New management. New rules." He grunted.

"I can't leave her here alone." Mars looked the guy in the eye. "We'll get Buddy to look after her." He said turning around. "BUDDY!" He called. Then a tall skinny looking man walked up behind him. "What is it?" Buddy asked. "He's back and he needs someone to watch his sister out here." The man nudged his head to me.

The door opened more to let Buddy out. He wore green camouflage pants with a white long sleeve shirt with tan boots. I couldn't help but feel like I've seen him before. I remember coming to this place last time but I don't remember it well.

"I'll be back Delilah. Don't get into trouble." Mars hugged me and I hugged him back. "Love you." He said going with the man, leaving me out here with Buddy.

He gave off a friendly smile. "What's that?" He asked pointing to Brown Sugar. "His name is Brown Sugar. He's my best and only friend. My parents gave him to me when I was around 8. Now he helps me through my problems and he never lets me down." I smile. Buddy looked at me as if he was remembering something.

"Who are your parents?" He asked. "Dexter and Natasha Neil." I answered. His face lit up but then fell. "They're dead?" Buddy asked with disappointment. But the way his voice spoke, it sounded like he was keeping a secret.
