*Hazel's POV*
I ran inside wondering why Sabrina screamed like that. Then as I was trying to open the door with my key I hear Terrence, "Go to your room, Sabrina and call dad!"
Call dad?
If Terrence had to call dad while he was at work then it had to be something serious. I burst in the house and set my skateboard on the floor then run into the living room. I turn towards the kitchen to Terrence sitting on the floor while mom was next to him unconscious.
I stood there, not knowing what to say. "Terrence what happened to mom!" Was all I could spit out. "Bri and I were in the living room watching TV and mom was in the kitchen when all of a sudden she fell to the floor!" Terrence started to cry. "Hazel, she's not breathing" He shouted in between sobs.
At the moment he said those words I felt sick to my stomach. I couldn't move. I couldn't think. I then fell to the floor myself then started crying.

I was sitting in the hospital within the next 45 minutes. Dad had came running in the house and took us all here to help mom.
I looked around. Terrence was comforting Sabrina, who was crying her eyes out. Something you don't see often. Dad was sitting next to me texting grandma about the situation.
Then a nurse came in the waiting room. "Family of Maggie Deven." "Right here." My dad said standing up. We all followed the nurse to one of the rooms. I see my mom on the bed sleeping. Which was good. "What happened to her?" Sabrina asked the nurse.
"Well, we found out that she had a lack of oxygen in her brain." The nurse then looked at my dad. "Her blood sugar was was too high. Was she stressed or traumatized anytime recently?" "Well, she has been stressed over the past few weeks because our house in Tennessee had been burned down and we just moved out here and we are trying to get situated with bills and stuff." Dad replied looking at mom.
"We'll have to keep her here for the past week. Just to make sure she'll be okay." The nurse looked at the clipboard then wrote something down. "Are visiting hours okay?" Terrence asked. "Yes, they are. You can come anytime this week from 11am to 8pm." The nurse turned to Terrence. "Alright. Kids we have to get home. Say your goodbyes. It's getting late." Dad said. We all said goodbye to mom then left out the hospital.
On the way home Mars texted me.
Mars: Hey sorry we couldn't work on our project after school today. My foster mom had me busy
I didn't want to tell him or any of the guys about my mom because I didn't even know them enough. So I'll keep it to myself.
Me: It's okay. Maybe we can work on it some other time.
Mars: Okay :)
Me: Alright :)
