*Delilah's POV*
I've never seen Mars so excited. I'm super happy that they'll get together. I've always wanted this!
Gosh I think I might be more excited than him.
He walked out the McDonald's bathroom to meet us outside. With the smile on his face I don't think anyone could be happier than him.
"Anna, I feel super nervous but super excited at the same time!" Mars bounced. "You look super excited that's for sure." Adrianna laughed. She fixed his hair a bit.
He wore jeans with a white shirt and a jean jacket over it with his gray beanie. "How do I look?" He asked. "Cute." Adrianna nudged him.
"My turn!" I said running in the bathroom with a bag of clothes. I decided to wear black jeans with a peach shirt that said the number '89' on it in silver sequence. I then paired the outfit with a pair of gray Uggs that used to belong to Adrianna.
I got changed then looked in the mirror above the sink. I think I'm going to Sabrina's today. I wanna look my best. I walked out and showed them my outfit.
"Looking nice, Delilah!" Mars smiled. He ruffled my curly brown hair. "So what's the game plan?" Mars asked as we sat down at a table. I hugged Brown Sugar close to me.
"Well while your at school, I have exams so I'm going to school and since Delilah can't come I'm dropping her off at Hazel's." Adrianna explained.
YES!
-------------------------------------------------------
Adrianna knocked on the door. Her dad opened it. "Oh, hi Adrianna, hi Delilah. How's your day been?" "It's been good. Can I leave Delilah here? I have exams and Mars has a few test at his school too. Plus our parents aren't home." Adrianna lied.
"Oh yeah that's fine. I'll be in my room since I got a day off but Sabrina shouldn't have school today. Her school has a weird schedule." He nodded. "Thanks. Bye Delilah." Adrianna hugged me.
"Bye." I said as I walked in the house. "Sabrina should be in her room still sleep. But I'll be in my room if you need anything." With that he left to his room.
I walked down the hall to the familiar green and pink room. On her bed, Sabrina was still sleep. She looked peaceful. I noticed pictures on her desk and I went to go look.
I picked up a picture in a purple frame. It was her and Terrence. "That was last month. It was my dance competition."
I turned around to see Sabrina sitting up in bed. I couldn't help but smile at her. She smiled back. "Are you still doing dance?" I asked setting the picture down.
"Yeah. I have practice Saturday." She got up out of bed and went to her closet. She brought out two trophies. "I got these on the same day of picture. They're my first." She smiled proud.
"Do you do any sports?" She asked putting them back. I shook my head. "I play soccer sometimes with Mars. He plays for the school. He thinks it's fun."
"Cool. They have soccer at the middle school I go to. Maybe if you come you can play soccer for the school." Sabrina said as she put on some socks. "Maybe. I like the sport now. I think Mars got me into it." I shrugged. "Well that's cool." She said.
Sabrina walked over to a mirror and started to braid her hair. As she was braiding her hair I couldn't stop staring at her. She was so concentrated. In the mirror her brown eyes met mine. She smiled and I smiled back.
"Wanna play a game?" She asked when she was done. I nodded. She grabbed a stack of cards from a drawer in the desk.
We sat on the floor and she taught me how to play. We're playing Uno. "So, Delilah, what do you like to do for fun?" She asked pulling a card from the pile to start the game. It was a yellow 8.
"I like playing soccer and singing." I said putting down a red 8. "What about you?" I asked.
"I like dancing and reading." She said putting down a wild card. "Blue." She smiled. "Do you have a nickname?" She asked. "Um, no. My family always called me Delilah." I said putting down a blue 5.
She grabbed from the deck three times. "I'll give you one." She said thinking. "Maybe Ella." She smiled. "I like that one." I smiled back.
Ella.
It rolled off her tough perfectly. It made me feel jittery. "What's yours?" I asked as I put down a red 7. "Bri. My family calls me it and sometimes my friends." She said.
"Cool. Bri. That's pretty." I smiled. "Thank you." She said placing down a skip.
Once we finished the game we decided to watch a movie. We decided on the live action Beauty And The Beast. We sat on the top bunk and cuddled up in a big fluffy blanket.
"Have you watched this before, Ella." Sabrina asked. "No. But I've heard about it." I nodded. "It's really good. It's probably my favorite movie." She nodded.
An hour into the movie Sabrina feel asleep. Unconsciously, she laid her head on my shoulder. I smiled to myself. I felt goosebumps. She made a chill go up my spine.
What was she doing to me? I honestly felt nervous and happy to be around her.
She made me feel like I was good enough for something. I just didn't know what. And whenever she talked about her friends I feel this annoyed feeling in my gut.
As if I don't want her to hang out with them. And when I look at her I can't stop staring because I think I feel attracted to her.
Do I like Sabrina? I can't right? Like that doesn't make sense. Only boys and girls like each other. But when I look at her I think of endless possibilities. She moved making me jerk out of my thoughts.
Jeez! I need to go to sleep.
Update 4/10/19: I'm kinda mad. Like I've been thinking for like two years that this book had 45 chapters.
But it don't!
How did I not realize that? Or actually, I think someone might have pointed it out but I don't remember.
But I'm still kinda mad about it. I planned this book out to have 45 chapters and it didn't.
Big tough.
