*Hazel's POV*
Friday.
I woke up to my alarm clock. I turned it off and got ready for school. Today felt different. Like I felt excited. So yesterday I went and got my nails done and I went with a red gel.
Out of my closet I picked out black jeans, red high tops, and a white shirt that said:
Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken
I looked in the mirror. I felt good. I then got my backpack and phone and went downstairs. "Morning, Hazel." Terrence said as he sat down with a bowl of cereal. "Morning." I put two waffles in the toaster. "Did Delilah leave yesterday?" He asked. "Yeah." I nodded. I waited for my waffles and went on my phone. I have several new messages.
Bryan started a group chat with you, Mars, Grant, Andrew, Ryan, Kyle, and Melanie
Bryan: Hang out is at 6:00. Leave the drama at home. Bring all your hopes and dreams. Tonight is a night to vent. So bring your emotions too. Drinks will be provided. You can also bring any drinks if you like. Tonight we live to the fullest!
Grant: Sweet! Can I bring Capri Suns?
Mars: No bring Sunny D
Andrew: No! Bring chocolate milk!
Grant: Definitely
Mars: Yes!
Melanie: Awesome! Can't wait!
Kyle: Will there be spin the bottle? If so we shouldn't do kissing. We should vent.
Ryan: Good idea
I laughed at the text. Tonight's gonna be great!

I walked up to Melanie and Kyle who were at Melanie's locker. "Hey guys." I waved. "Hey Hazel! You look nice." Melanie said. I laughed. She said that everyday. "So? You peeps ready for the party tonight?" Melanie smiled. "Heck yes!" Kyle said. "Of course." I smiled. I put my Language Arts homework in my locker since I wouldn't need it until after lunch. After that we walked over to the boys."Hey hey!" Kyle said as we joined the group. "Hi!" Ryan said. "Hazel, can I borrow your math homework?" "Sure." I said rolling my eyes. I handed him my homework. "Ryan, you need to start doing your homework!" I said. "I'm a very perplexed and busy guy. I can't do everything." He said sitting on the floor. "Well homework needs to be on the list." I looked down at him.
"So how is everyone's morning?" Bryan asked. "Good." We all replied. "Anything new going on today." He said emphasizing the word 'new'. He looked at Mars. "Nope!" Mars answered popping the 'p'. "You guys are so weird." I said. "Just a normal day." Mars looked at me. "For a normal day you sure are dressed up nice." I pointed out.
He wore a white shirt, a jean jacket, jeans, gray vans and his gray beanie. If anything that's one of Mars' best outfits. "Well you are too. Anything special going on?" Mars smirked. "Not that I know of besides the party. Just decided to. I smiled. "Good" Mars nodded. I gave him a weird look. Andrew laughed. "Anyway! Who's bringing the chocolate milk?"

I sat at the lunch table with the rest of the squad. Melanie and I were listening to the sound track for tonight. We were seeing if anything should be rearranged. I could hear the boys snickering and whispering to Mars but I didn't know what about.
